Leighton Meester

i really want to watch the movie ASAP!!!
she looked nice at the premiere, dress is similiar to the one kate bosworth wore2 days ago.

^ Man- tell me Derek Jeter isn't having dreams about the two of them...!! :shifty:

I love the look as well, especially the sleek straight hair and the makeup. It really complements the dress. I love that she's mixing it up on the red carpet yet again.

And BOOMER, Derek Jeter is totally hoping that Leighton joins them on their honeymoon, whenever that may be.

I'm not too fond of the make-up, it's too dark for my liking but the hair looks good. I love the dress and it fit's her like a glove.

Love the latest look. She looks totally gorgeous in that dress. I don't like her hair that extremely stick straight though. I prefer it to be a bit more wavy.

love the latest look! reminds me of her electro phase! love it! from top to toe! :)

From Nylon, smiling!

Thanks to her magnetic screen presence and weekly must-watch TV show, it's never been hard to watch Leighton Meester. But thanks to two back-to-back movies - Country Strong, out now, and The Roommate, premiering February 4 - the Florida native has quickly catapulted from TV star to Hollywood's new hot property.

She's also our February cover girl - after all, it is The Love Month, and we're totally head-over-heels for this New York-based actress.

Leighton Meester on Blair Waldorf:
Blair is.... I don't know what she is... I have to enter a completely foreign body to sympathize with Blair and her decisions. You know, Blair grew up very savvy, well-educated, and lonely. I think her mother is not the most supportive person and... Blair is very competitive and conniving, and it obviously comes, usually, from a very human place, but she makes decisions that I would never make.

Leighton Meester on her Country Strong character, Chiles Stanton:
She is so scared of people thinking of her as this ignorant, vapid, pretty face, and you know, I can totally understand where she's coming from because, especially if you come from Dallas Texas, you're a beauty queen - you don't play the guitar, you're writing seemingly meaningless pop songs. All that I can relate to, totally. It's sad and sweet at the same time."

Minka Kelly on Leighton Meester during the filming of The Roommate:
She worked with psychologists; she really studied the illness of the character, so much that at times on set i was a little concerned whether or not she was there because she scared me so much! The look in her eye was so surreal I was in awe at how much she committed to it.

Leighton Meester on Her Family and Friends:
I like to be judged by my family and friends because they know me. If they think I'm being an ******* I'd like them to tell me, but if I'm fat or something I'm like, "Well, so? OK? Great!" It doesn't even matter; it's like, "What if I am fat? Does it matter?"... I'm a grown woman and sometimes, I might be a little fat, you know! Am I alone there? Not really!

I. Love. Everything. She looks so demure. Curls would've been so wrong since she's meant to look cool and sleek.

Thank. You. I don't understand the negative/"should've opted for curls" comments. A. It's a premiere for a horror/suspense thriller movie, B. The dress is sleek, dark and sexy, C. the hair compliments the overall look. She would have slapped if she went romantic/curls/soft with the hair. Leighton knows what she's doing.

She looks great. Awesome dress, I'm not too fond of the hair though but it fits the dress.

even if not curls, she should added more volume, her hair looks bad

The Nylon styling is really bad. Then again, it always is.

I agree. Nylon styling is NEVER good. I usually think Leighton knocks out every photo shoot she's in. But Nylon gave her very little to work with. I like everything from the neck up.

And there are so many occasions where her hair have been curly/wavy/soft too. Just refer back to those! I guess sometimes people just focus on a specific thing because of their own personal preferences (which is fine, everyone has those) that they can't see the whole look for what it is. Most of the time, I think she/her stylist do a very good job of completing a look.

Some adorable pictures with her female co-stars. It must be fun working with her. She seems to have good relationships with everyone.

Surprised the dress is Michael Kors. But I love it regardless. It fits Leighton perfectly.

And I agree with lawaldorf on the hair issue. Pin straight is the only way to go with a dress like that. I am actually quite glad she didn't do curls. I much prefer the sleek look.
