Leighton Meester

O H M Y G O D can she be any hotter? that shot is just amazing!! She has real presence in front of the camera, Olivia P. should take some lessons from Leighton
all of these shots are amazing

i realise this is going to be unpopular and possibly nitpicky but i think this spread is pretty tacky and the fact it's her first shoot post-gossip girl kind of makes it worse to me. i don't mind nudity or girls being sexy orrrr doing out of the ordinary photoshoots, but i don't know. i just don't think there's anything attractive or charming about this. it's very, "look! i can do something naughty!" to me.

She's done a lot of risque photoshoots during GG for Rolling Stone, NYT and GQ so I don't think this is meant to be a statement about the show's conclusion.

Personally, I love the juxtapose of the pics of her laidback real life style and the Flaunt shoot. She pulls both looks off effortlessly. Not the greatest model, but it does show her range as an actress and, like someone said, strong presence.

WOW at the 5th pic in #484! Gorgeous!!

I agree with lawaldorf. Leighton has done photoshoots like this before, she's definitely not trying to prove any point here.

If I were a celebrity I think I'd put more thought on my outfits even on my day off. Can't blame some people when they say a "style icon's" iconic status is mainly due to her stylist. But I gotta give it to Leighton for looking cute despite having no makeup on.

I like the shoes actually.

And I'm not sure it's fair to hold celebs to this constant perfection rule. I mean, most of them--the non-attention whores--don't always know when the paps are there or if they're going to be photographed, particularly stars on Leighton's level, who are not huge like Angelina or Lopez. Why not be comfortable? I don't know, I think she looks very cute and fresh here. I'm glad she's not always "on" like the Kim Kardashians and Emma Roberts (both of whom obviously call the paps) of the world. A good example would be Cate Blanchett, who looks stunning and always takes risks on the red carpet, but in her down time with her kids, is always in jeans, flats, sweaters, loose shirts. I don't think you have to be dressed up all the time to warrant "style icon." Then again, I never thought of Leighton as a style icon, but that's another argument.

Yeah, she's not a style icon to me.
We can't see her as much as different celebs in her down time, so I'm pretty sure she doesn't know when she's gotta be photographed or something. I think people should be more understanding about clothes and looking perfect all the time ;)

Leighton is not a style icon and she probably knows that. She doesn't have to dress for anybody but herself.

I didn't mean that Leighton's actually one of the celebs considered style icons. But yeah, chickadee is right, one does not have to be overdressed all the time. :flower: But one does not have to look shabby, too, esp. if you're a celeb.

I would add a scarf and change the shoes and probably that outfit would look better.
