Yeah, I am so happy that it's not another lame actress turned singer pop star album. She wrote every song and it's very impressive, kind of a Joni Mitchell vibe. My favorites are "Runaway" and "Good for One Thing."

Hmm, don't know how I feel about the shoot, but she looks gorgeous as per usual and I love how beautifully her energy translates in photos; it's a really rare quality.

I am absolutely in love with her album. This is the album everyone should be talking about, to be honest. Pity about the timing, but the reviews I've read are really good and hopefully she continues to get more because it's really a gem. I'd even venture to say one of the top 5 of the year. Blue Afternoon, Sweet, Heartstrings, Run Away are all standouts, but honestly, every song is beautiful and so well-suited to her voice. I remember not really liking her music some years ago, but I think she's finally found her beat/genre.

I think it really goes to show you how she likes to leave the bells and whistles at home. Her film Life Partners, which has been well-received AFAIK, was released and everyone's loving her music so she should be everywhere right now, but she isn't.

She works those clothes so well. I didn't particularly like the styling of that shoot, but she looks really good in all the pieces, especially in motion.
