yeah it looks a lot lighter. correct me if im mistaken, but leighton is natually a darkish blonde.

That´s what I´ve read, but it´s kind of weird that they have changed her hair color in Gossip Girl, considering that she plays a really classic and conservative caracter, and that she´s wearing dark hair precisely because it was asked for her role. I think dark hair is perfect for "Blair".

They're also in a hotter area though so naturally Blair's hair would get lighter from the sun - I think they over exaggerated that and went a bit too light.

i think the hair might be a combination the sun exposing her naturally light hair, it might look darker on screen..
