I'm certain that she wears extensions and probably a hair piece as well during filming, because in a few of the pictures of her on set her hair goes from short to long and back again in the space of what I assume is a day.
Kind of makes me wish I had more hair

Do you think they gave her extensions on Gossip Girl? I can't figure out how they make her hair so lush and thick looking on the show but it looks way thinner in those pictures above.

They definitely do, her hair was shoulder length just a few months ago.

Michelle was just making a social visit because she and Leighton are good friends.

^I think it's probably too thin/cold to be just wearing those white tights so she has a pair of leggings underneath. You could see the second layer just above her ankles. I love that coat. Care to ID, anyone? And last night's episode was just so amazing. Completely blew me away. And her funeral ensemble was classy as ever. Can anybody help me ID the dark blue mandarin-like jacket? Thanks!

^^ Boomer, i would think it was layered stockings/tights and thick wool. You can see the ribbing so it's fairly thick.

I really enjoy to see her as Blair.
She and Ed are the best thing in this show.
