Leighton Meester

Not enamoured by the nude dress (though her makeup and hair look flawless), but my gosh she is beautiful in the Marie Claire spread!! She definitely deserves a major campaign.
 
Where are her Herbal Essence ads? Is there any TV with that campaign? I was expecting to see her everywhere by now...:unsure:
 
^Totally! I'm surprised neither her nor Blake have snagged a campaign yet. Especially since Taylor Momsen has a Galliano campaign :lol:

“Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester has signed on as the face of Vera Wang’s next fragrance, WWD has learned. The advertising campaign, which will be shot by Carter Smith this weekend in Manhattan, will break summer 2011 in fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazines. The fragrance will be available in department stores next summer. The designer noted that she believes Meester’s “beauty, talent and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance.”

She's the new face of Vera Wang's new perfume! I am so excited for her!
 
I loved that dress from the collection, she looks very good in it but I liked it more with the flats and the relaxed mode from the show

I just picked up the latest issue of Marie Claire and her editorial in it is fantastic so I have high hopes for the campaign

If you thought Leighton Meester was making a lot of money before, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
Meester, best known for her effortlessly perfect portrayal of Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, is set to be the face of Vera Wang’s next fragrance. While details are skimpy on the fragrance itself (we don’t know what it smells like, looks like or what it will be called) we do know that its campaign will be shot this weekend somewhere in New York City. Keep your eyes peeled, Upper East Siders!
We also know that the campaign and the fragrance will be available for your sensory consumption next summer, and that Wang is as in love with Meester as we are. The designer told WWD that she’s certain Meester’s “beauty, talent and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance.”
By which she means it’ll inspire the money right out of their purses! Meester’s endorsement means a lot to beauty brands. She’s already been hard at work as Herbal Essencesbrand ambassador, and her face is featured in the company’s ads and on its Facebook page. The fragrance deal will probably feature similar placement of Meester’s graceful decolletage and gorgeous face, so we won’t have to watch Gossip Girl reruns to placate our annual summer Blair withdrawal.
We’re happy for Meester (she totally deserves it), but we can’t help but wonder where Serena Blake Lively is on the whole celebrity product endorsement front. Having a Louboutin named after you is great, but it’s not the same as being paid millions of dollars to say you love X Brand Beauty Product. We’re sure she’s received offers similar to Meester’s, but why not take them?
We don’t know. But you go and get yours, Leighton. Get it while the getting is good.

Yeah, they've been coming out. She's been trotting around the globe doing in depth interviews for the brand as opposed to just a campaign. (I believe that wonderful Marie Claire photoshoot was a way of promotion, among other publications ;).)
