I will confess I actually didn't like that dress at first. The fruit prints were too loud, too gaudy, and too big for my taste, but repeatedly seeing it posted caused me to reexamine it. It's now one of my favorite Blair outfits! It's as you said, very Blair-ish, but also untypical: despite the puff-skirt and print, the cut is different and unusual from her standard day dress. It actually reminds of me of her season 1 style because it has an over-the-top (but still wearable) element to it.

It's now how I see Blair's style in my head: unique, offbeat, risk-taking but still supremely classy and regal.

Ugh. And, to think Eric started the season off with that, and wasted the W and Louis returns arcs on standard Blair fare. (I refuse to call what he's been putting B in this season typical because it's not even that.)

not too keen on her dress at the Lovestruck launch, the belt looks a bit out of place given the seams on the dress. She looks gorgeous though, I like that her makeup isn't too 'done'.

I'm going to head to my local Sephora as soon as I can to try out Lovestruck for the sole reason that Leighton is the face of it.

vera's lovestruck is a sponsor at TIFF's amFar gala, and since leighton will be there for her movie with hugh laurie i don't think it's so farfetched to assume there will be red carpet pics of leighton! i hope her movie is good, i definitely think she and penn are the ones on the show who have the talent.
