Loose T-Shirts

these days, a lot of people are looking for comfort than pinned up doll shirts (if you know what I mean) lol

I think loose t-shirts with a tiny belt around the waist gives it an extra plus to the outfit. I personally LOVE tiny waist belts; it shows a woman's point -- the waist.

I still find it hard to get nice ones, I guess everyone is fuzzy about what suits them...i guess i'll keep on searching!

I definitely am not into the muffin look.

But then unless we have supermodel bodies, it would be likely that there is some kind of spillage especially when we wear skinnies.

I tend to favour tee-shirts that are long (covering the hips) but at the same time cut slightly fitted so that there is some semblance of a silhouette. It's a flattering cut that hides the spillage but at the same time doesn't engulf your entire body. :)

It's not easy to find the perfect tee..

i have a black U neck oversized one from AA...
the only problem is that each time i wash it it gets slightly shorter..
...

which is NOT ok because i need it to cover my butt!!!...:judge:..

SO annoying...

one of my favorite loose tees to wear right now is actually from express. it's sheer and requires lots of love (gets wrinkled quite easily) but it's fantastic and only about $30. i'm normally a small/medium in tops so i got the medium for a slouchier look and it stretches out a bit with wear, but it still looks good.

Ooh, you're right, I did notice those in store and thought they were quite nice. When you mean wrinkled easily, do you mean you had to iron it out every time?

^ yes. well, i've only really worn it once and then i was forced to sleep in it cos i didn't have any other clothes, but just a low ironing smoothed it all out. i will have to iron it when i wear it again because i keep it folded rather than hanging because i don't want the collar to get all stretched out.

the kain tees are amazing, however they are $80+ a piece! any substitutes? ive been meaning to check out the express tees for the past month and last time i went i couldnt find it. the kain tees are 40% off on active endeavors today but i think they only have the blue color left :(

I know they are a tad expensive...But they are worth every cent :) I spent up to 200 Australian dollars for a grey one (I know I'm a little crazy) :p The blue is a very lovely colour, but of course it is ultimately up to you m4ryb3ar ;)

I've been really wanting some of these shirts, I had some at one point but my mom threw them away thinking they were too big for me
Does anybody know where they sell petite/junior loose tshirts at common stores/shops (I can't drive a long ways out of town any time soon)? I most likely can't wear men sizes since they seem to be huge on me since I'm only 5'3'' that would look like a dress on me and having my body shape doesn't help anyway since I don't really have alot of curves.
This is very complicated

has anyone tried the luxus burnout tees? i want to buy one badly but cant decide on whether i should get a small or medium. i want it to fit loosely. 5'2 115lbs. helps please! tia.

oh yeah and ive gotten 2 express tees before christmas and theyre awesome! i still am going to get a kain tee bc the drapey pocket is amazing. cuivie, do you have a kain tank? im jw btwn the diff in length (in the tank and tee) if there are any

i am also curious about the kain t's...the sizing i mean..its a O/S but i wonder since im a L in most shirts if it will still be loose fitting..

m4ryb3ar - I know the little pocket detail is just too wonderful  I don't have the tank (just two of the tees), but I can tell you there is no difference between the length (I have seen and tried on both) ;)

lmelanie - They do come in one size, but I can tell you it definitely is a large size. They are not a small make at all.

Hope this helps...Oh and I'm ordering some more of these tees and a tank because they are just so amazing. Hope you guys love them too :flower:

Whoaa, I never realized how big a difference the right bra can make for loose tees. Before all of my bras had underwire, so whenever I wore anything loose I would look a lot bigger than I really am (in the tummy area) until I discovered the AA interlock bra with no padding, underwire, etc. Makes the tee hang soo much better!

^ I agree entirely :) One of my favourite looks

me too, such an easy outfit for school or when ur brain-fried and cant think of anything to wear. and it can be dressed up or down. thanks for the info cuivie! im ab to order a kain tee now. oh and i totally agree ab finding the right bra for these tees

They are pretty loose fitting and they are also a tad bit sheer. Very comfy though!!

i ordered 2 kain shirts from activeendeavors.com they were $34!

I love kain tees! I own 3 of them in basic white, black, and brown colors. There's something so casual and relaxed about wearing loose tees. I love wearing them with dark wash skinnies, a printed flat, a single bangle and a long layered necklace.
