i ordered 2 kain shirts from activeendeavors.com they were $34!

Wow what a bargain! I have ordered another in the blue, although it won't cost anywhere near 34 dollars

me too, such an easy outfit for school or when ur brain-fried and cant think of anything to wear. and it can be dressed up or down. thanks for the info cuivie! im ab to order a kain tee now. oh and i totally agree ab finding the right bra for these tees

This trend it just so great, and is something I think almost anyone can get to work for them. I have an amazing oversized tee from a H&M sale ages ago, but try as I might they never re-appear in any store.. Its orange and has a scooped neck with a seam down the centre of the back. I've had it for ages and its never gone out of shape or anything, its one of those lil gems you have got to hang on to!
I also just bought one of the Zara men's tee on sale for €7.95 and I really am loving it!! Its soo soft and the neck in't too high but not too shapeless either!! Looks great with a lil skirt and loafers.. wish they had more colours left though..

im so jealous, how did you do that? i only saw 30% off coupons and ive been checking all the sales for the past 2-3 weeks and there arent any kain items on the site anymore. i got a kain tank for $43 from vibetheboutique, and i thought i got a steal!

Gap classic t-shirts are pretty good for this in my experience. I hate American Apparel t-shirts.

^ I don't know why, but they (AA tees) are so very popular here...I have a few Saint Grace tees, which people frustratingly mistake for AA Only difference is that Saint Grace tees are 100% Supima cotton

i just searched kain tees on shopstyle and it sent me there..i ordered them right away..i went back to the site and there were no more kain shirts there anymore..so i guess i got a lucky window...

I'm a fan of the Continental Bamboo and Organic Cotton. Looks and feels like silk. As for the loose vs fitted debate it depends entirely on your shape. If you are lean then a closer fit looks better in my opinion. Loose and baggy on me looks and feels terrible and being of a 'modernist' persuasion fitted always feels right.

James Perse always seems to be fitted so I would order a size up if you wanted a looser fit. The sizes are 1,2,3,4 or XS,S,M,L

hope this helps! If you live near a store that carries it I suggest trying some shirts on because there are many different styles.

thanks melanie and m4ry! as far as i know there aren't any stores that carry james perse for me to try on... it's a shame because i hate buying online for that very reason but i think i'll take a risk... i wonder if the Large would be too big ? i normally wear Small if i want something fitted and Medium if i want it looser.... but in this case if they run small maybe i should consider a large... i am pretty petite (5'4 and no boobs..)

Surprisingly Gap's whisper thin T-shirt is very soft. In the picture, I don't like how it's very fitted on the model. I'm thinking of ordering a size up to wear it as a loose T-shirt. When you order a size or two up, how big is considered too big of a shirt? I usually wear a small.

^ these are a good cheap alternative also. theyre burnout so they are thin. i just happened to stumble into them at the store and bought some sizing up of course.

i also want a fluxus pocket tee, fluxus loose fit v neck, and a clu boyfriend pocket tee. oh how tshirts get expensive! i think my boyfriend got me a nation ltd. karen tee for vday yayy perfect for school haha

the kain label tees look awesome! I'm going to have to buy a couple of those. Where else can I find them? I like the pocket tees from Madewell also. They're not as loose fitting though. I also found one at Urban Outfitters by Truly Madly Deeply and it fits nicely
