But Lea Seydoux would have been more suited for this.
The good thing is that we are concentrated on the jewelry.

Meisel only shoot on set now. If you want the presence of Meisel nowadays, you go to NYC and have those campaigns. It’s literally the same with Max Mara.

The Prada campaign and the Zara stuff from last year I believe, were shot remotely…So he wasn’t physically on set.

Not sure if it's just because I'm bias toward Steven Meisel but I am loving this, and it is without a doubt, one of Alicia Vikander's better and more photogenic of times in front of a camera (because we've had some real stinkers over the years, after all).

The portrait itself is undoubtedly flawless, with Alicia's perfect complexion, natural beauty and elegant poise here. I love Meisel's use of light and how I'm immediately drawn to the jewelry, which of course is the whole entire purpose of the campaign. A win-win... zero complaints.
