Thanks, Leyla. I like it a lot, but the shape is so different from anything I've ever owned. I wasn't sure if the circular nature of the bag would make it difficult to get things in and out of.

I love that bag! I saw it at the LV boutique a few days ago and fell in love. It's so classy but different than the typical LV's you see everywhere.

I own this bag and have had it for about a year. I personally think beige is the best color for the Bedford and agree with everything Leyla says.

I'm a big fan of the "papillon" style bags (I also have the damier, 2 monos (one with the dark straps and one with the light straps, and a soufflot (i.e. the epi version)). They're all similar in functionality; however, the opening of the Bedford is a bit stiffer.

Yes, the straps will go over your shoulder. However, the weight of your arm will squish the bag in the middle...which doesn't look so good.....so I ususally use it as a handbag.

you know, i have that bag in fuschia, and honestly, in comparison, everything seems okay (like the bottom of that bag has the symbols placed where the ones on mine are.. + the two LVs end up right below the handles...).. but i'm not sure how good people bother making vernis fakes (as opposed to some of the hideous MC fakes, which are more obvious to see immediately...) with their attention to the details + placement.

the ONLY thing is that my bag (authentic, of course) ... on the each side, has a stitch on the inside fold, so it 's doesn't lose the straight square shape,which that one doesn't seem to have... or has lost.


the color would be a dead give away... but i'm honestly not sure about ALL of the colors that were released ... i'm sure someone else does though.

also, the price is low + the reserve has been met... which i'm also be kinda iffy about


if my sister wasn't sleeping, i'd ask her ... she knows a lot about LV + the vernis colors....

exactly!

like the stain/disoloring on the inside tag (seen in the other pics from the auction)....+ it's really misshapen from what mine looks like (which is barely used.. but will be getting a lot more use in the upcoming weeks... hehe) ....

looks fake, or just REALLLY used...

BUT the seller says it's in "used once condition" ...... which kinda... ehh, it doesn't sit well with me...

ahhh. so i just search old threads (cos i remember one about vernis colors) + it seems there was a bright purple made...in 1999 ......which in that case, maybe they didn't have the stitching mine has... (or it's been taken off or broke off??) + which is why maybe it looks misshapen (i'd take pics of what i'm talking about, but my camera's battery is charging)

It looks authentic. The purple Vernis was introduced in fall 1999 and was produced until about 2001, when it was discontinued.

im on the waiting list for the wallet... and im so AFRAID the marshmellow pink/ green line is going to STOP selling anyday like the white/pink burberry nova check (they stopped selling them the day i went to buy one of the bags ..=(...)...

does anyone know when this particular vernis is going to stop selling?
the LV sales ppl told me it only lasts spring and summer this year..but is still continuing to sell in the fall... im thinking maybe it'll go on...but at the same time, im scared i wont get them!!~ i've waited YEARS for this color to come out again.. i remember loving it in elem/middle school and it just went away!! im only 18..so money is a problem.. im saving.. & HOping..what do you guys think???

Yes it is called marshmellow. I have the marshmellow bedford bag and would love to sell it, but my husband bought it for me for mother's day this year - oh well
