She's literally shoving Edie and Cara, and all the other hipsters down our throat and it makes me dislike them even more.

May I ask what makes a model hipster for you? ... I've seen you have used the term in other times and I really don't get the specific use you give to the word.

I love it! Looks like a book!

I like it! Maybe it's not the best we have seen from LOVE but it stands out from what other seasonal magazines have to offer. Apart from what has been said, I ****ing love the Peggy editorial, that's what mostly sells this issue to me. It's fun and cool without losing the fashion sense or the Tim Walker touch. I don't mind Cara or Edie, if there's enough diversity throughout the issue I don't mind repeated faces.

I just wish the logo positioning was for the iPad edition only, or that it could be removable :p let me dream

I am definitely not going to buy this due to Cara. :yuk: The overload of her in this issue makes me officially hate her. I love the Boyish ed though.

The cover with Kate in a Antonio Lopez pastisch is fantastic. And the editorials inside are almost all so incredibly good.

Quite a lame issue in my opinion. Especially comparing to let's say the FW 2011 issue with the amazing editorial of Guinevere, Mariacarla, ect by M&M or Querelle, Colinne and Tati by Willy Vandeperre. Katie can put out much better content then this. Girlish and Boyish are the only decent editorials here for me. (Could've done with out atleast half the cast but whatever) I'm also happy Stina is in quite a few editorials too.

Angelo Panetta's ed is okay. Others... boring. why didnt they just give the cover to cara as well? :ninja:

I don't really get it myself either
Perhaps socialite models is a better term to use, eventhough some of them are hipsters. All tarred with the same brush.
Pixie, Cara, Edie, Daisy. The girls that got their work through their fame and name.

I like Mert and Marcus's editorial eventhough they've done the same kind of editorial last issue as well

All in all, I dislike this issue a lot. I wish there were contributions from Vanderperre and Jackson.

Dont love all the eds, but even if it was a weak issue, which imo it is not, i would have bought this because of the epic cover alone!

Mat there isnt enough karma in the world to give you for all the wonderful contents you posted, thank you. Cant wait to see it in print now.

I know you can't please everyone and that's fine by me but this issue is a bit of a joke! everything about it feels so lazy...

I can't wait to see Kate's ed and Victoria Beckham's shoot in HQ!

WOW nice of Katie Grand to include such a racially diverse cast of models and talent for issue 9 of Love....

eeeeer wrong... Bah bah

Peggy's editorial is the best thing about this issue, along with the ed with Saskia and the one with Magdalena

I don't really get it myself either

Oh I see...
Well, I was just asking 'cause people use that word for everything nowadays, in such a regular basis, that sometimes, like in your case for example, not even they know what they really mean (and don't worry, it have happened to me as well, that's why I prefer to avoid it )... but now that you changed the term, I can get a little bit better where you were going (even if socialite is still an ambiguous term for some of the names you mentioned), not all of them are my cup of tea, but I think although a family name can help for sure, it's a fact that these days it's not enough, examples abound... I personally think that if they are still working on the regurlar and have decent bodies of work it's because they've given, and have, the extra something that keeps a model around...

I'm so in love with Peggy's ed btw!

Laura Carmichael looks so, so awesome in the features editorial. Whoever said that Lady Edith is plain looking is totally wrong! I'm getting a bit of a Little Edie vibe from the photographs.

Lily McM must be the worst thing to happen to the modelling world... I am a huge fan of her mum but that girl is spellbindingly unfortunate looking... She really looks like one of the characters of Victor Hugo's 'The Man Who Laughs'...

Aghhh... I think that's a terrible comment... I tried to remove it but too late... SORRY if I upset anyone...
