Vulgarity at its loudest, everything about the cover, from her to the entire art direction! I knew this looked too trashy even for VP, so of course it ended up being Lui, just do Playboy and be done with it. I'm positive they would do a more tasteful shoot.

Love her, love this, I have a blind Snejana-ish tolerance for Rihanna... I love her raunchiness and loud and explicit lack of interest for representing "class"... she's so street and I find that refreshing and infinitely more interesting than the endless rows of girls trying to channel grace and charm, which is cool and probably more aspirational but still it's nice seeing someone that is a bit defiant of that.

This is perfect and sexy as all hell! Go Rihanna! Go Mario!

She has an incredible body and I don't think she should shy away from showing it if that is her prerogative. Personally I'm tired of celebrities being coy with those idiotic photo shoots where someone has one arm draped over their chest or some other strategically placed limb for the sake of faux modesty. If you're going to go for it in the first place - go for it. What a major coup for Lui!

Maybe I'm coming to this from a different perspective but if I want tasteful I'll pick up a copy of American Vogue, if I want in your face sexy I'm here for Lui.

Rihanna is vulgar and sexual and I love her even more for it. There is something so unabashed and brazen about her and it makes her ridiculously cool. She is one of the few celebrities out there who really does not give a crap about what people think about her and she lives her life for herself.

This cover is just so her- totally unashamed about her sexuality (and rightly so) and very sexy.

Not even being bias, I love it. She looks great on the cover and must I say Lui magazine is bringing it, I like the contents thus far from the previous issues. Rihanna and Lui just won again.

The KimYe one? :woot:

Sorry, couldn't help myself. :P

Anyway, I love this. It's somewhat vulgar and crass, but that's Rihanna for you. She's not letting Partition Yoncé steal her Queen of Raunchyness title that easily. B)

I don´t have a problem with her or nudity but that hat is just awful! ;)
those are very interesting nipple piercings, are they her own?

I love the retro vibe from the cover. Yes it looks pretty vulgar, but Riri looks really cool

The cover and the other photo where she's drinking with the hat and braids make her look gross, but the rest of the ed inside redeems it. It makes her look beautiful.

On the other hand, I was definitely not expecting her to pose for this magazine. I mean, she's really sexual as many of you have said and is topless all the time with modesty, so it's a relief she's actually showing everything for once. Especially for a magazine like this because I thought it would have been populated with Edita V every issue like it was before Rih. Looking forward to seeing more celebrities pose in the future if they want to.

I don't like the tan lines and hair but she's got that couldn't care less attitude so she pulls it off.
