Male Model Fired for Eating Croissant on Bruce Weber Abercrombie & Fitch Photoshoot

Yup that has to be one of the dumbest story ever
And stoppin someone from eatin a croissant does not make you hype or somethin sorry more like a dumb fuc*

Oh Jesus...as if guys with their fast metabolisms couldn`t afford to eat a crossiant! Pfff...ridiculous!

There's no way he should be fired for a croissant unless he was using a pair of AF jeans as napkin.

Man now I want a BLT croissant.

the truth is that this is gonna work out well for him in the end. i had never heard his name before, but now i'll remember it. i'm on my way now to go search his thread at modelhommes. hahaa.

so ... i say, it's [in the grand scheme] a win for him and a loss for A&F.

Can we get a photoshoot with Fry just wearing a croissant? Please? :ninja:

croissants are inherently evil.

ever since this thread came up i have become obsessed with them.

^me too. no idea where I could find a good one round here though. :ermm::lol:

Seriously, some photographer with a good sense of humour needs to make that photoshoot happen, because that would be the perfect way to mock this extra-ridiculous subset of the industry. And it would be both funny and hot, which the world needs more of. :smartass:

this is ridiculous

and like someone else said, why did craft service even put 'bad carbs' out? if they're so strict, there should be only oatmeal, low sugar fruits, raw veggies, steamed lean meat and fish, sugar free Jell-O and lots of water.

putting carbs in front of hungry models is just setting them up for failure. do they want them to eat those carbs in secret in a toilet cubicle? geez

A lot of time a buffet table is set up for specific people-the teamsters-photographers-riggers-client whoever. Taking something from that table is a no-no unless your part of that group. It could be the croissant was from such a table.

Hehe... I love that idea... but I think that it would even better if we just stopped associating Abercrombie & Fitch with the industry. It's slightly insulting to the latter, isn't it? :stuart:

Well to tell the truth we do not really know the context. I do not think it would be appropriate if a tax inspector starting eating a croissant while dealing with your finances. So it doesn't always have to be about weight. If he was on set and not on his break, i can see why he would get a warning, but unless he was a repeat offender being fired for it is a total exaggeration.

He's really cute, I'm sure he'll manage.

With this, I just found Bruce Weber weird.

WTF!? Is it bad to eat? It`s not like a Croissant will make your tummy, (you know). He`s still a human, and humans, even models eat!

I sure hope it was because he was eating it at the "wrong time" although I don't really understand when that time would be, unless it was while he was on set or something, geez

And not everyone even needs to really watch their weight maybe hes just naturally skinny and already eats fattening stuff. Not that is should matter anyway though!!
