I actually like the first shot but it's too editorial for a campaign. Looks very British Vogue.

So far Meisel's work for Loewe is his best this season. Waiting for Chloe and possibly Givenchy.

I love Meisel but I don’t like this...Too 1993 for my taste. The clothes doesn’t really look fresh in this type of setting...

Classic and timeless portraits like this always hit the spot but I cannot understand the use of Meisel’s black and white photography here, especially when Marc’s collection was so vibrant and colourful.

I particularly like the campaign because they decided to go black and white. Every magazine editorial overused the colour pop theme with those clothes so it's refreshing to see a different approach here. Also loving the classic Meisel portraits, can never go wrong with those.

Yeah, no. As everyone said taking such a vibrant and colourful collection and shooting it in classic B&W "Penn" portraits...makes you miss those crazy Teller days even more.

It is very editorial. That could be the point: The entire campaign comes together as a complete fashion story. It feels more intimate, hence the lack of logo placement.

I appreciate Marc and Meisel not going with the predicable explosion of colorful portraits. Even if it’s not quite successful (the portrait of the woman in polka dots and bowler with how her hair is styled looks like a clown…), the B&W brings out a stronger mood and gives more of a candid personality— something that’s sorely missing in fashion campaigns these days.
