i usually don't have anything to say about marchesa...cause it's just not interesting...

but i like a lot of things here...
i guess it's the can can girl in me that just likes feathers and such...
it feels very parisenne somehow...

i know they dress tons of celebs for the red carpet..
but who actually BUYS this stuff???
this is the kind of stuff you borrow or rent for special occasions...
i mean- can you really wear any of these more than once?
not really...
so- where's the market???
i don't get it...

Not really related to the clothes but I love the song (track 1) featured on Marchesa's website. What's the name of the song & is it available on itunes or something?

It's a pretty collection but nothing new or majorly interesting. No doubt a bunch of those dresses will appear on the red carpet soon as some would be perfect dresses for award ceremonies.

So much wit in this thread, makes me laugh.

I don't know what to say about Marchesa. It never appeals to me, it's all pretty standard stuff for the red carpet. I guess I kind of look at as innocuous stuff for celebs. Kind of like the local seamstress/dressmaker that everyone in highschool gets their "safe" prom dresses from...(no offense to those hardworking people!)

I like the blue feather dress with the high shoulders, plunging neckline. I'd wear all of them actually.
