I wonder if Ashley is being flirty or just a tad drunk  They're really cool anyway B)

I love her coat.

^

She looks great, that's a nice fall outfit. I adore that coat and of course that bag :crush: Probably my favorite from their line!

Apart from the bag, that's a really bad look. It was probably laundry day or something.

^haha. Not bad for laundry day, methinks...the only thing that throws me off is the coat. And yes the ripped knees are very MK.

And I am so tickled by that Kanye West video. The flirtiness is very cute.

GUEST EDITOR: Ashley Olsen

HE83Z.jpg

Our Guest Editor series for 2012 has been rather impressive, if we do say so ourselves, and we're truly delighted to present the last incredible installment today, featuring Ashley Olsen! Beloved for her impeccable sensibilities and admired for her incredible work with The Row, Olsen is truly a fashion entrepreneur of the highest order. In addition to designing The Row, Olsen (along with her sister, Mary-Kate) helm an empire that includes Elizabeth and James, Textile Elizabeth and James, the exclusive-to-J.C.Penney line Olsenboye, and their newest project, the online-only e-commerce site StyleMint. As if that's not enough, our Guest Editor also serves as creative director to the Italian sneaker brand Superga and happens to be a style icon for stylish women everywhere. Though wildly busy running her fashion empire, Olsen kindly took a moment out of her schedule to talk to us about all of her favorite things right now, ranging from a beloved Resort 12 look to a surprisingly thrifty thrill (pearl earrings, who knew?). Read on for all of her essentials and be sure to tell us who you'd love to see as Guest Editor in 2013!

Shiseido Translucent Eyebrow Shaper ($23)
How does Olsen maintain her famously full eyebrows? With this sheer gel from Shiseido! Formulated to shape and define brows, this hard-to-find product has a cult following, thanks to its thin brush and long-lasting formula.

Majorica Baroque Pearl Drop Earrings ($65)
Though Olsen could wear any jewels in the world, she decided to include an accessible pick in her story today: these simple pearl earrings. Crafted in Spain from organic, man-made pearls, these delicate earrings will add a little luster to any look.

Barbour Classic Bedal Jacket ($379) in Forest Green
Olsen might have designed a stunning animal-print coat for The Row, but the outerwear option on her list is this truly timeless piece. A medium-weight jacket with a zip-in liner and a corduroy collar, it's the perfect option for casual weekend errands or countryside vacations and only gets better with age.

Textile Elizabeth and James Jimi Jean ($195)
Inspired by and named in honor of Jimi Hendrix, these bell-bottom jeans are truly the last word in psychedelic chic. Featuring whipstitch embellishment on the outer seams, these jeans will bring the spirit of Woodstock to whatever you're wearing.

Frédéric Fekkai's Protein RX Shampoo and Conditioner ($39 each)
Whether it's short or long, one thing's for sure: Olsen protects her signature blonde locks with Frederic Fekkai's reparative products. She loves the shampoo and conditioner from the Protein RX line in particular, as they strengthen hair damaged by coloring and heat styling with a soy and milk protein-infused formula. Nourishing without being heavy, these products are exactly what your hair wants!

Superga Classic Sneakers ($65) in Navy
Olsen is involved with Superga in an official capacity now, but she's long appreciated the brand and has been spotted in these simple sneakers on numerous occasions in the past. Available in a number of hues (including pale pink!), these simple shoes offer an Italian twist on the classic canvas lace-up.

Celine Resort 2012, Look 22
The party outfit on Olsen's wishlist? A ladylike sheer Celine dress with a black stretch leather bra and a wide belt! Demure yet edgy, this modern look is the epitome of chic in every way. We adore the nude elbow-length gloves and white ankle-strap platform sandals, and totally understand why Olsen appreciates this look. To emulate this ensemble, we recommend picking up ASOS' Petite Dobby Mesh Dress ($45) and cinching the waist with a thick belt, like Halogen's Lizard-Embossed Belt ($42). To finish, you must snag Portolano's Opera-Length Leather Gloves ($395), which will give your after-hours outfit a perfectly prim finish!

Taschen's Art of the 20th Century ($30)
Olsen actually owns the limited edition, sold-out hardcover iteration of this book, which originally debuted in 1998. While that version can only be found in Taschen's archives, you can get your hands on a much more affordable softcover version! The two-volume set covers everything from photography to new media and would make an incredible addition to anyone's collection.

The Row <Tall Day Luxe Bag ($5400) in Black with Silver Hardware
When it comes to handbags, Olsen goes for understated luxury, so it makes sense that she chose one of her own styles! The tote on her mind is this sleek bag with two top handles and a detachable strap. Also available in a stunning terracotta hue, this bag is truly a classic investment piece. If you can't afford to invest quite so much, we believe Tory Burch's Robinson Magazine Tote ($550) is a completely chic and sophisticated alternative. Le Labo's Vintage Candle ($60) in Santal 26
We are huge fans of all things Le Labo around here, so we were elated to learn that Olsen loves the company too! Even better: she selected the Santal 26 candle, which is very similar to the candles burned in the Gramercy Park Hotel. With its smoky, leathery scent, this candle is sure to delight any recipient, making it an excellent holiday gift!

Caption says Mary-Kate, but it looks like Ashley to me? The style screams Mary-Kate, though.

I adore the last look of Ashley posted in #484.
Who can look so chic with a destroyed jeans? just call Ashley.

^I would've said Mary-Kate as well, but judging by her hair, bag and scarf (she wore the previous day), I would say Ashley.

Oh, I adore that coat! Isn't it this one (photo from 2004)?
