My boyfriend and I agreed that the trailer for this movie is really effective, they just show 2 minutes of the film and it really gets you wanting to watch more (instead of just showing the best bits in a montage and spoiling it). I really enjoyed reading the book a few years ago, and I must admit although at first I was shocked by Meryl - she seemed to be a bit too..old - I think she'll good job. I was also surprised at the choice of Hathaway since I thought they'd choose a washed out mousey-blonde, but I think hathaway will work out well because she looks so different and...'homely' compared to the other cast members.

Anne is a great choice! So is Meryl, perfect fit, imo! The only thing that sort of suprises me is Emily's character. She has the british accent and all. While reading the novel she sort of struck me as one of those ditzy fashion/celebrity obsessed new yorkers... It'll be interesting to see if she grows on me...


I wonder if there'll be a Lagerfeld appearance!!
