zendaya’s look is from john’s surrealist collection for dior, right? spring 1999 couture, i’m pretty sure… just in a different colour-way.

edit: yep, i’m right. she should have gone with the original colour-way and hair - it’s gorgeous.

i agree, these new colours make it look like a cheap costume. more evidence that a client should never mess with the designer’s original vision imo.

Look, I know it's called the Costume Gala, but Zendaya's hair and makeup is a little bit too costumey. It's a shame because the dress is great. (Well, the Dior one at least.)

It works on Gwendoline Christie because it feels like second nature. (No pun intended.)
