Model Casting F/W 11.12

It seems like there has been no casualties among the new Calvin Klein exclusives yet, which is pleasantly surprising, not including Ida who hasn't appeared anywhere and could fall off the face of the Earth like Maggie Borman and Louise Maselis. Merethe and Svea have been a bit mediocre, but they've still booked pretty good shows; according to BLACKLAB, Merethe hasn't been booking as much because of her short hair, which was expected.

I guess it comes with the height. Tall people often have large feet, there are a few exceptions like Lara Stone.

I am 5'11" and wear size 11 shoes. From personal experience I know that American designers are more likely to have size 11 shoes in the show. However in Europe they just refuse to admit there is such a size as 11
As to what it has to do with casting, sometimes girls get rejected from the shows (e.g. Julia Nobis, Kirsi (the season Nobis was an exclusive, Calvin Klein had to make shoes in size 11 just for Julia, I heard in the dressing room, Calvin people were complaining a lot about that) because the designer doesnt have the right size. Trust me when you're 11 it is impossible to walk in the standard 9 shoes.
Also I know Frankie Ryder has like size 12 feet, however, that didnt stop her from being a successful model

he got daria last season and that was amazing bc it's a really tough to get her to walk.

that's not gonna happen. paris always cast the biggest and most diverse models in the fashion in the industry. it always get big name to open and close the shows.

i dont think arizona is gonna be that succesful in paris comparing to ny or milan. if all the big guns are there then im sure she won't be a major factor. jsut look at last year: we had daria opened hakaan and balmain, giselle opened balenciaga, stella opened chanel, karlie opened dior, etc. it's a tough task to conquer paris fashion week.
