When I saw the closing model, I thought, "who is this scared newbie they got closing Dior??!!" and then I saw Julia's name and thought, "I should have figured that out from the scared crapless face." But I'm not going to hate on her too much, and I don't think that she would have blown a kiss unless she was told to, and I'd rather see that being the image of the close than the one with her frightened expression.
LMAO, all this imagination and talk of someone opening. And then Karlie opens again. Blah. haha
It's hard for me to comment on the cast (yay Snejana was there), I couldn't recognize many of them on nowfashion but from what I saw, they had some great names.
Isabel Marant did not have Arizona Muse, woehoe! I was a wonderful cast like Mulberry with Candice I'm happy. I'm not a Arizonahater but enough is enough for friday.
Sure there was probably a timeconflict but on the other hand: Isabel Marant and Balmain both always have basicly the same established cast. If you take a look at the showlist from last season it's basicly the same as this year. The only models who weren't at Marant this season and were last season and now walked for Lanvin were Ginta Lapina and Freja Beha.. So I think Isabel Marant wasn't go anyway for girls like Jac, Frida, Daphne, Arizona, Mirte, Nimue to name a few. Maybe Freja and the models who otherwise would walk for Lanvin choose for Isabel Marant (like Abbey Lee).
I think Lanvin is a more major show to do to be honest.
The main reason why Marant always had a decent casting was because E. Alt was styling the collection..
^And she is not there anymore? or what do you mean?
They still had basicly the same cast minus Freja Beha en Ginta and plus Abbey Lee (comparing to last season)
I don't now if Lanvin is the better show to do, their casting is less precious than Isabel Marant's one. The Marant team rarely books newfaces / mid-range models, they only book like 20 high profile models each season while the Lanvin casting is a pretty trend orientated mishmash in its structure with many newfaces (Caterina Ravaglia, Codie Young, Colinne Michaelis, Josephine Skriver, Kate King, Kristina Salinovic, Marique Schimmel, Maud Welzen, Milou Van Groesen.....) and often includes like 30-40 girls. I think Daria Pleggenkuhle was the first rather "low profile" (career wise) newcomer to walk Balmain & Marant show in seasons. I think I'd take the Balmain & Marant route over Lanvin and YSL for instace.
