Was that the context of my usage of the word demise? Guess again. Why don't you go one or two pages back to check how some user used the exact word to describe Maartje's career who obviously has a better one than Julia and Daria S.? Bye.

Julia Bergshoef chose not to do the fashion week circuit after doing two succesful seasons. She didn't "fade".


Some girls like the stress of fashion month. Some girls don't. Probably the same situation with Imaan Hammam.

I'm a bit shocked about Marine, I actually thought she wasn't walking because she chose not to this season.

The lack of instagirls at most of the Paris shows is very refreshing. Maybe it's finally become the trendy thing to exclude them.

At the same time I kept thinking about Miu Miu whenever the word pops out. Last season though they don't have those girls, but let's see what the show will bring this season...

The thing I hate about the "instagirls" (Bella, Kendall, Gigi) is that they have to try way too hard to be something that's way too attainable.

High fashion models are meant to be so EFFORTLESSLY beautiful that it's unbelievable, such a crazy combination of a perfect face and a perfect body that you can't even believe they exist, like they're another species of human. Natasha Poly would be my best example, there is not a single thing about her that isn't scarily perfect. When you look at them on the runway, even if the clothes are HORRIBLE, you still think the whole look is amazing. They're the kind of models I grew up with (from say 2007 to 2013, before Cara Delevigne appeared and changed the way the industry worked).

Bella, Kendall, Gigi, etc, they're just pretty real-life girls who have the right height, money for fillers and nose jobs, and kind of take care of their bodies....oh and millions of insta followers

What's up with the Maartje/Julia? Maartje isn't in demand as she used to be on the runway but still did some nice shows. She also has the Balmain lookbook, Valentino and Alexander McQueen fragrances and H&M campaign and Dior beauty under her belt, so she isn't fading into oblivion. Neither is Julia B who without being everywhere appears in Vogue Paris, Lacoste and Zara campaign. I do wish we would see her more often though..

and i agree with a user on the previous pages. What's with the hype people hoping a model fading? I don't like Westling at all, but i don't wish for her to fade. I just look at the models i do like.

Yeah I thought It must be Ashley's antics ( or one of her assistants) , I mean we all know Ulrikke was just the top of the iceberg in terms of shenanigans.

Oh plz relax there is no drama.Greta has personal stuff to deal with.Jess & Iri have slowed down a bit which is expected.Vitto is doing amazing as always .Yasmin is doing very fine except for the fact she is not booking a lot of shows reasons that i can't get into.all the new Elite girls are doing well from Nina to Lea J to Micu ,Yoon, Faretta & Matea.There is no drama.
