Their reign is about to finish.. It's time for Kaia. And it's so much better.

Wow, that's a relief. Always worried that they'd pop out there but oh well, life has just happened...

Finally after a no-escape in Milan, we're free of them in Paris although with one particular exception somewhere,

What a HUGE FLOP Paris week has been for all of them: Gigabyte 1 show, Kendull and Bella ZERO

Are we sure they weren't booked? I can't believe getting rid of them is this easy. Pimp Mamma Kris sure has something else up her sleeve no?

I think Kendall skipped Paris as I did not see any video of her hanging around with her BFFs
As for Gigi and Bella...well they were both in Paris which clearly means casting directors didn't want them

Kaia had a TOP first season, every newcomer would kill to open the shows she opened and walk for all A list designers

Kendall would have walked Miu Miu had she attempted Paris, she did not step foot in Paris at all. She was the only "instagirl" that walked for the Fall 2017 show last Feb and all of Katie's and Bitton faves who were in Paris walked Miu Miu today. I think she would have walked Balmain and a good chance for Chanel. She could book other shows like Elie Saab, Mugler, Sonia but they really try to have her walk only the top shows available to her. These girls historically never walk the top Paris shows... Dior, YSL,Valentino, LV, etc...

Gigi also could have booked more shows, maybe she chose to be exclusive for Marant to get the campaign she has closed the show for 3 seasons now... Not sure what happened with Bella but it will be interesting to see what happens in Feb. for them.

Kendall, Gigi and Bella were all in Paris, they just didn’t get cast. Kaia > Gigi > Bella > Kendall imo, and it seems like the industry thinks the same. The other instagirls can pack their bags because Kaia’s here to stay and I love it, although I do agree that Cindy did help with some bookings... regardless I love her walk and her attitude on the runway especially for a new face.

Kaia's rise isn't going to come at the expense of any of the instagirls. Kendall was never in Paris. Bella and Gigi never do well in Paris. Kendall and Gigi are the new supers and are going nowhere fast. Kaia's one of the best new girls to hit the scene in years, she's going to the very top instantly. The two aren't related.

Well I guess Paris would never be the city to begin with for the instamodels. It seems more plausible that they could be booked as special request. If Balmain, Miu Miu or Chanel really wanted them, they would be there. With Kaia, the daughter from and who actually look like a model, there was really no point of the instagirls after all.

And please new supers? That's what the media and mdc are calling them now, let's just see in 5 years if they are still relevant.

Rianne did amazing! I guess she only missed out on Dior? Roos v Elk also did fantastic. Wished to see Birgit, Luna and Yasmin more.

Great to see Julie at LV and Greta and Lauren at Chanel.

I agree with vanpersie, although I'm sure the vast majority does group Kaia with the rest of the nepotism models, unfortunately, she is something very different (in a positive way). She brings energy that the rest didn't in their first season, at least. And I simply view KenGi as established names in the industry, not supermodels.

Kendall would not have walked Balmain...it was a very surprising casting. It was clear that the decision was made to drop the instagirl obsession that Balmain had had for the past few years and return to the better days.

Lovely to see no instagirls in Paris, only Gigi at Isabel Marant. I doubt Bella was actually sick like she said, it's obviously what you'd say when you're just not getting booked. She was in Paris looking perfectly fine and well in all the paparazzi photos
