From the Isabel Marant show I understood some things: Mia Armstrong has a really powerful walk and Bibi Breslin has a particular charisma. Alex Consani was unfairly snubbed for a long time, off the catwalk she has a slightly edgy character, which I don't really like, but on the catwalk she is very strong. Seeing Angelina only in the best shows, almost exclusively in Piergiorgio's shows, doesn't create hype around her, it seems like she's always there, you already know she's there. Anyway, a round of applause to all the models for changing personalities in just a few minutes and for the crazy races between Schiaparelli and Isabel Marant.

Lennon is amazing! I love seeing her and Matilde coming up as new Italian faces on the catwalk.

On Ella M's Instagram she had a story that was just a photo of an older woman, so I wonder if she had a death in the family or something personal that prevented her from walking before Paris.

Seems like not much has changed in [checks notes] five years, besides most shows being quite lackluster in terms of casting this season.

The absence of Rianne van Rompaey on the catwalks is killing me... she brought so much life to every show.

I assumed Ella was being held for a Chanel exclusive.

Isabel Marant's were never my favorite shows. Got the opportunity to watch it live once. Seemed more like some hyped-up Elie Saab casting. No risk, no frisk. Big names galore and that was a great moment as we got to see some of our all-time favorites walk. But the thrill wasn't there. Was just some kind of a convenient mix of already established models. Close to zero surprise, pretty much like the clothes themselves.

Don't be that harsh on models enjoying vodka a bit too much , mingling with cheap eastern european alcohol remains neat (or at least some of my neatest memories from Paris fashion weeks ). And Amelia Gray rocks it when she really wants.

Amelia Gray is doing a very poor season in Paris..she only walked at Stella McCartney and Schiaparelli. no opening/no closing.
Loli, Mona and Lulu aren't opening and closing as many shows as they did last season..

This is why when I saw that instagram story which was just a photo of an older woman ( looked like a tribute post ) I assumed she had a personal issue to attend to which made her miss most of the season. She usually is a top walker in Paris + the Vogue Cover.

But then so many top models have been MIA this season.
Also a lot of top girls are slowing down, the break out stars from last season are few and far between ( Only Jacqui and Libby T IMO ) or they are totally MIA ( Claire Marie ) and maybe it's just me, but none of the debuts have really wowed me or made me think they will last.

Lauren Huyskens was standing out, but she hasn't booked much yet in Paris.

It's been really weird.

I get you're a die hard Vittoria fan but what do you mean by this? They both had similar amount of campaigns (5-6) but Vittoria did one show while Mona did many more in comparison.

Yeah Vittoria's been around four years longer than Mona, so it makes sense there's more anticipation for a model who's been around longer.

Another thing, we haven't seen Vittoria on the runway since March 2025, whereas Mona has done shows throughout the summer, making her "return" less exciting overall.

It's like if Rianne van Rompaey were to come back and do a few shows, but then Anja Rubik came back and closed one show. Both are very exciting returns, but there's probably going to be more anticipation for Anja's return, as she's been around longer, and we haven't seen her for a longer period of time.

I was thinking about Amelia’s Paris run a few days ago. She normally books Chanel each season, but I imagine with Matthieu as the head designer now, she probably won’t walk. Miu Miu and Valentino are the only shows left she’ll walk. Or as someone else mentioned Ann D.
