Movies That Have Made You Cry

has anyone seen The Boy in Striped Pajamas? Its about a german boy who befriends a jewish boy during the holocaust and the twist in the end is a must see.

It didnt make me cry per se but made me emotionally involved in the last half hour of the movie. I watched it before i went to sleep and didnt know it was going to be so intense. Its still haunting me.

I've heard about The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. It's at my local redbox. Twist? Hmm... now I'm curious, but I hate sad movies...

A.I: Artificial Intelligence just makes me bawl. I've seen it twice and cried like a baby both times and now I refuse to see it anymore.

The Green Mile produces the same effect, and again, I never want to see it again! When it comes on tv, I just see the happy parts and then change the channel. lol

So sad:cry: although I actually figured out the outcome a while before the final act. Such a lovely film but ultimately heartwrenching.

I won't give away what happens as many people probably haven't seen it, but in Valentine's Day Julia Roberts final scene in the film made me cry

I also cry at Home Alone 1 & 2 when the mum is making her plea's to get home to Kevin

:ninja: same here, I saw it once and cried too much and I'm never going back there.

I cry a lot with movies, recently I cried with a documentary, Those who remain, about the family of undocumented immigrants that have to bear with their absence, it was heartbreaking.

And, I'm probably the only person that cries with Elizabethtown , I read such terrible reviews on the movie but ever since I watched it some years ago, I have gone back to it more than 10 times and it never fails to make me cry.. I think it's the fact that the movie isn't really much of a love story but more an encounter with home and family, revaluing your loved ones and celebrating what makes them unique (and sometimes insufferable!).. I thought the reviews focused too much on Kirsten + Orlando and even Jessica Biel's 5-second appearance when that wasn't even the point really.
Anyway, I think it's a beautiful movie. :ninja:

The Lion King is the first movie I remember crying while watching. I was about 6 and I bawled when Mufasa died
Also, Titanic, House of Flying Daggers, Old Yeller, and Schindler's List

OH GOD YES

I also cried my eyes out during 'Up'
I kept laughing and crying the entire movie

You know, I am a VERY emotional person, and can cry very easily watching interviews or movies... and just the sight of somebody else crying gets me... but Up did NOTHING for me. Well, I cried a bit at the beginning but the rest of the movie didn't touch me at all. Hmmm.

My most recent was Crazy Heart. And before that, Precious.

I cried watching both Armageddon and Apollo 13 this week

OH MY GOD...Armageddon gets me every single time, it's nuts:rolleyes:
but Precious made me cry for the last time:(

I bawled in A Single Man, especially after the last scene.
I needed a couple minutes to recover and finish crying after the movie was over.

^oh that movie is still stuck with me emotionally somehow.. not in a sad crying way but more in a haunting way

Erin - what .. but really I think I cried mostly because I can't stand seeing old people sad

I cried watching both Armageddon and Apollo 13 this week

I'm sensing some sort of theme here:innocent:
