whoa a lot of these girls have potential...that photoshoot in the car is bad but they are pretty...terry leigh actually almost looks like daria in her photo in that car...gorgeous..

This week was the best episode I think. First of all, the girls visited the C4 music channel studio where they did a few lines with a presenter. This winner's prize was to co-host C4's Select Live show. The challenge winner was Ruby who did really well and seemed to be a natural. Next, the girls visited a music studio to record a music video. I thought it was great, they all seemed to really enjoy it. The short preview looked great! Then the girls did a photoshoot with the guys from Cleo Magazine's Bachelor competition. I liked the shoot, girls like Hosanna and Ruby are improving and are really growing on me. The bottom two was: Rebecca Rose and Lucy. Rebecca Rose was eliminated.

I knew just by looking at the photos who would be eliminated this time. Her picture was not good at all. Sad, though, because I really liked her

Her photo was dreadful, but there were at least two others that had pics that were just as terrible. And the photographer said that one of them didn't seem like a model. That should have been enough for said girl to get booted. I really hope she doesn't last much longer. As for the eliminee, I suppose it was a "long time" coming as she wasn't improving in the eyes of the judges despite her strong look.

Seeing last week's photos (the car shoot) in HQ makes me realize that Laura was the only one with a great photo.

For this weeks challenge the girls met with design students to create an unfit from clothing at a charity store. The girls then modelled the outfits on the runway and the girl with best walk was the challenge winner. After the runway, the girls did an 'emotions' photoshoot, where each girl was given an emotion to portray. The girls then discovered they were travelling to Sydney for the elimination. At the elimination the seven girls found out that Sara had six boarding passes to LA. The idea of the photoshoot was very 1930's and very beautiful! The bottom two was: Teryl Leigh and Lucy. Lucy was eliminated

The girls are in LA! They met with Next Model Management, filmed a covergirl commercial and did a photoshoot with Nigel Barker. My favourite episode to date, they keep getting better and better. The bottom two was: Hosanna and Teryl Leigh. Teryl Leigh was eliminated. My favourite shot was Christobelle's, gorgeous I don't know why the pics are in black and white, they looked so much better in colour!

thanks bamhutt for upload ep 10, it was enjoyable to watch ... i cant get over the accents!!

- IMO teryl leigh had the best pic, very illuminous eyes & she had the best face (although the tatoo killed it) but that red dress she chose was so bogan it was riddiculous!! as well as her dress in the elmination not to mention ruby's also ... they looked like dresses from pagani or the warehouse ...

- cristobel is my fave, love her look and esp her style .... she would look good in RUSSH ... looking forward to next week's casting for NZFW esp after her fall ...

- Hosanna is crazy, kinda like a tyra caricature ... she's warm & enjoyable though but contrary to what Sara says, I think Hosanna's problem is too much practising, she's almost like a drag queen ...

- i've only seen a couple of the episodes, i cant believe rebecca rose is gone ... what happened? was it because of her previous modelling experience?

- i wonder if nigel was telling the truth about the quality of NZ's girls being right up there with top NTM comps around the world? i hope so ... i thought he gave great feedback to the girls and i thought he was right in that generally most of the NZ girls didnt know how to use their bodies and faces simultaneously ... i think thats been a big problem when u look over their pix ... he had good critique ... i was actually standing next to him at bloomingdale's on 59th and i didnt recognise him initially but i kept thinking id seen him or met him somewhere before ... duhh!!!

The girls did go-sees in Auckland and a photoshoot on a luxury boat. My favourites were Christobelle and I'm also quite impressed with Hosanna this week. The bottom two was: Ruby and Victoria. Victoria was eliminated.
