It seems as though this cover is another instance of a magazine & an advertiser getting cozy together.... kind of the same idea as what Harper's Bazaar & Estée Lauder did in July by putting Gwyneth on the cover for Sensuous.

im shocked, especially as im expecting the new 90210 to be a critical and ratings flop.

same here. i don't see it doing well. I'm not crazy about the way they're styled on the show either. The clothes they wear look cheap. I guess I'm critical b/c I automatically compare it to GG - and I have a feeling this show will pale in comparison.

I'm amazed at how much the CW is putting into this 90210 remake... even Gossip Girl isn't successful in the traditional sense. Why are they doing all of this for what will be- at best- another blog buzz show?

Its ridicilous, Gossip Girl is not a sucess by any streetch, its just that it was hyped beyond belief everywhere so i guess they think its the way to go at CW;brainwash the teens into thinking its worth the watch.

The cover's not bad, especially considering that it's the TV issue, but I'm still not happy with the issues lately.

Not a bad cover at all but I agree that the first preview picture we saw was much better. For two seconds I thought, Well, maybe that 90210 show won't flop after all. Then I had a good laugh.

I'm happy to read that GG isn't quite the success everyone in the media wants me to think it is. Before now I was really confused about it .

i was quite surprised that the cover was actually not that bad. i like the styling but the issue as a whole - im sorry to say it - but its the worst issue of nylon ever in my opinion.

maybe its because i loathe television & have no interest in it whatsoever?

but also the fact that isnt september primarily the month for fall fashion issues? this one definitely disappoints on that note.

i honestly dont know what to think of nylon sometimes...
