the yellow blazer is very attractive. i need to see it in person. for those who have seen it, are the buttons blk. plastic and is it a more muted yellow? i'd love to sew some wooden ebony buttons onto it instead. i also like the blk./wht./grey floral blouse.

yay! i dropped by target at lunch and got the black and white poppy print blouse. it's so cute! while the material is basically the same as the polka dot blouse from tara jarmon's line, the fit is so much better and flattering too. i would say they basically run true to size for those who are asking. i was also impressed with the wool pants - fit was great, material wasn't itchy and it has silk lining underneath. i didn't get it coz i wasn't too crazy about the pattern although it is nice.

so to all the girls who went to the pop up store in melrose, do they have the kimono dress in black? does anyone have a phone number there (maybe it's on your receipts)? help!

The pop up store does have the kimono dress in black. The fabric is a bit too thick for my personal preferences. It is sort of a heavy cotton material.

Unfortunately, the colorblock sweater that is shown with pale green is actually a dark green in person...same color as the green cords. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to the light green color.

yay! thank you checkers! i think i'm going there on friday to, um, check it out. i think that dress was meant to be worn in colder weather therefore the heavy material.

btw, this is the blouse i got yesterday. it looks better in person and the print reminds me of celia birtwell's prints for topshop. the cut and fit is great too. so much better than tara jarmon's polka dot blouse. it looks great with my black zara trouser shorts and black patent wedges (which i'm wearing right now!). maybe i can add a red belt too. so cute!

I got this Henley yesterday, and I didn't catch my eye online bc the pic is not great, but in the store I loved it!

It has very light, a bit shiny material that falls really nicely. The cut is great too, it is slimmer at the waist and then gets wider towards the bottom. A very flattering cut, nice and loose, but in no way baggy. It is true to the size M, which I usually buy, definitely don't go a size up.



Then I also got the Poppy Print blouse. I'm not certain if I will keep it...

i just picked up the owl cap sleeve thermal shirt, the silk cami someone just posted a pic of and the kitty coin purse. i tried on the owl skirt and it was cute, but i think stretch in denim is more comfortable and they had no stretch and were a bit tight along the bottom. i wanted the poncho hooded cape thing, but i think i'll wait...the sm was really big on me, and it was either that or get a few smaller things, since im short on cash this week. i also tried on the kimono top in green (like the cami) and wasn't too impressed with the fit, although the fabric and feel was delicious! if i did get the kimono top, i'd wear it open in a layering thing. i also tried on a wrap white silk crepe lacy top (they had black too) which was really nice and i will probably go back and pic it up.

they has plaid wool capris, wool shorts, the green silk cami, kimono top in green (like the cami) a green chiffon dress (like the cami print) the peter pan collared t-shirts, the silk lacey tops, regular tank tops in jersey with v-necks, baby-doll jersey tanks with an empire waist, grey and pink thermal cap sleeve t-shirts with the owl print, houndstooth skirts in green and pink, black and purple-print silk skirts, the black and white poppy shirt, a polka dot shirt, the turtle-owl and cat pins, a turtle and butterfly leather belt, these funky gold charm necklaces, ulgy canvas white and black with silver hardware hobo bags, and cat purses and another kisslock coin purse (cant rememeber the print), burgandy corduroy pants, the owl jeans, the owl mini denim skirt, a black cami with red and green and white (kinda like cherry type print trim) regular black tees, and grey wife-beater tanks with buttons, black/pink sweater with zig-zag and a blue/yellow zig zag sweater in cotton (really darn cute!)....i think thats it. i should have taken pics, but got caight up in trying everything on....the sizes are true to size (thanks god too after that tara skinny *** size chart stuff!) and i want to buy EVERYTHING!!!

here's what i bought, and as soon as i have more $$, im going back for more. the quality is fabulous and the cut not only fits nicely, but the fabrics and quality are wonderful! im really digging the paul and joe stuff, after being so-so with luella...and dissapointed by the sizing, design, fit and quality of fabrics from tara...
