These are some items I'm considering. The idea of shopping tires me at the moment. It's odd, but maybe it's good thing? My wallet would certainly agree.

Anne Valerie Hash La Redoute.jpg
Anne Valerie Hash for La Redoute  So versatile and it's GREY! So not available in America, though. Jane makes it looks so good, too. :(

Sweet lucite brooch.

Still searching for the perfect pair of charcoal cigarette pants. Also blouses/dresses in gem tones, mustard yellow and any shade of purple. No luck as of yet. Luckily though, I seem to have all the skirts I'll need already!

^I really like your choices, and I adore the color scheme! That bag and that brooch against the AVH grey--love that!

NAP has some good cigarrette pants by Vanessa Bruno Athe, btw.

I am having a total crisis over this Marni dress. I saw a girl wearing it yesterday and looking absolutely fabulous....and then it popped up on the updated Marni website this morning.

I am in L-O-V-E. :sideways:

wiw, check out ebay for some bakelite pins, the one you posted reminds me of vintage bakelite.

laika, are you going to get that :heart:, I could totally see you in it (headless of course). I think marni is doing dresses best this season. with the dries boots, OMG :woot:.

wiw (thanks for that abbr luckyme :D), I love your choices too  Particularly the middle top, the second pair of boots, and the AVH. You have exquisite taste ^_^ Also agree that vintage bakelite is perfect for this season. If you don't mind spending a bit more money, probably the best thing to do is find a specialist dealer for the very best selection and quality ... I don't have any bakelite jewelry, but have other vintage bakelite, and it's just luscious :crush:

Awww, you all are much too kind! Thanks for lovely compliments and karma!

Laika, I will have to take a look @ those VB trousers. Thanks! I also adore the Marni you posted.

Thanks for the helpful tips Luckyme & Fashionista-ta! Will def. look into that.

 And yes, the abbr. is genius. Thanks, softgrey! :flower:

laika- i like the silhouette of the barney's image- but i agree...
the actual pieces could be better...
the marni dress is killer......

wiw- lovely picks...
esp the bag and the patent flat boots....
i was eyeing that dress as well...but alas- it is out of reach...:(

*glad you guys are happy with your nicknames...:p
:winkiss:...

i really like this kooky quirky image from the nytimes mag...

I love those Rupert Sanderson shoes, aris. Every time I look at them, I think to myself how well they'd go with my round tortoise-shell glasses.

^ They are really cute shoes :flower: Remind me of my black velvet & lacquer shoes, which I believe also have a little bow ...

I'm in a dark mood this season, lots of black, navy and charcoal. it would be nice find a pop of red, maybe a pretty scarf, but if not...B)

are the shoes too much? burberry shoes scare me a little but at the same time I've seen these styled so well.

vavavavoom....!

Lucky, the shoes are very editorial but if you're absolutely smitten and certain of their flexibility, get them!

I love the gloves, scarf and the dress... who makes it? It's looking very CdG; Tao maybe? The skirt is lovely too, the back view particularly.

thanks very much for the nice comments, wiw

the shoes are on order and I can return them if they are too over the top. they are stupidly pricey for what they are, but they are selling out fast so I wanted the opportunity to try them.

the dress is junya watanabe from this season, the skirt is yohji yamamoto and the gloves are mazzoleni.

yoox sent me a superstar code for 15% off so I had to reduce the size of my dreambox before someone else got to it...hence the yohji and the comme buys.

speaking of CdG, I fogot to add this sweet thing from yoox.com
