Has anyone heard that when you get your tragus pierced, you hear a loud popping or crunching sound as the needle is going through? I've read about it in alot of articles on tragus piercings. Apparently it's b/c the needle's going through thick cartilage. That's the only reason stopping me from getting one. I think the sound fx will make me . I have the top cartilage part of my ears pierced but I didn't hear anything when I got those done:huh:

i got my tragus pierced when i was sixteen and nothing like that happened to me. My piercing didn't hurt and i watched in a mirror as the guy did it. Its really fascinating!!! I didn't hear anything but maybe its one of those things- happens to some but not all, although my sister also has hers done too and she neer heard anything either!! I love my piercing and don't regret it at all and if you want it done id recommend it.
I love piercings but personally i would only get my ears pierced as i get bored easily and wouldnt want a facial piercing.I dont particularly like belly button piercings either because sooooooo many people have them. Spain is a great place to see some amazing piercings

Thanks! But I think I'm still gonna have to summon up the courage to go for it. When I got my belly button pierced, it took a long time cuz the needle wouldn't go through my skin. The piercer guy said I thick skin and it was hard for the needle to pass. It was quite painful for him to use strength to push it. And now that i'm feeling my tragus, it feels quite thick! Or is that normal?

Don't you already have one of your wrists done?...
I think I remember a pic....
It was very cute and edgy and you pull it off well.
Good luck:flower:

Where exactly do you pierce your collarbone? The middle?

I like it too, a friend of mine had her sternum pierced horizontally, but removed it. I'd like my tragus pierced, nothing too impressive. I love it on Scarlett Johansson.

Take it out right away before it heals. It shouldn't leave a big scar if you take it out now.

^ the scar is only a white small dot, which is very hard to even see. so just take it off now and you'll be just fine :flower:

went to get my tragus done on tuesday, so much fun  i was almost sure that it's going to hurt like hell, but i didn't feel a thing. and didn't even hear any pop.. now my ear is looking awfully cute
as for the painfactor those who are interested.. my lip piercing hurt much more, i even got water in my eyes so. no worries it's over in one second

the bar is shaped like a staple so that it doesnt pull agaisnt the skin like a flat bar would. its basically dont the same as any other piercing where they clap you pierce you then put the jewellery in.
