the first ear took like 6 months to strech but the other i did in one 1 month and a half probably! I like to see bigger but i don't think i'll do it in my ears :P
will you have more than 6? ^^

septum is finally pierced!!!!!
i will take pictures tomorrow!
it didn't hurt at all.. like seriously i wouldn't even have noticed the needle sticking through my nose if it wasn't for a small amount of pressure...
looks amazing~

yeah im aiming for 8 which is only 2mm away but im giving my ears a rest to heal and settle plus buying all the plugs and tapers it getting abit expensive since im stretching both at the same time. i have some plugs in at the moment with black gems in the middle and it just looks like im wearing normal earings:lol: if im stretching i want people to atleast notice it. i may end up going bigger but im aiming for 8mm first.

i recently got my first "real" piercing in the top of my left ear (the other ones were shot with a gun when i was a a child) and surprisingly it didn't hurt at all.

i had those in my ears when i stretched them so my mum and school wouldnt find out! it worked aswell
in the end i took them out though cause i got a bit bored of not being able to wear normal earrings
the only thing is though everyone always says never go past a six mm cause it wont heal but mine was at 8 and they healed fine?!
i recon its a scare tacticc!

im just looking for a way to hide my nose piercing now
any suggestions anyone?!
;)

actually yes ^_^ I used to have a nose ring and I made my own form of the plastic retainer.. taking a ziplock bag and using a part of the thick ribbed pieces, cutting it to the right size and voila! Unless you meant hiding the actual stud..haha

i just need it so its not glairingly obviouss cause school hates me so anything like that il be made tto take it outt
even though i had it done for a yearr it still heals up if i do take it out and theres no way im getting it done againn!
so i need to hide it
i might try getting a plastic retainerr
and then just smearing make up over my nose i dont care whether it looks like i cant do my make up or nott
x

yeah i miss wearing different earings but i have 5 other holes in my ears i can stick other earings in so its not so bad! i think they'll shrink back my lobes are still soft and they havent formed alot of scar tissue so i think they'll go back to normal.

i think a plastic retainer is the way to go im sure you can get flesh toned ones aswell as clear.

Plastic retainers are definitely a good investment, especially dealing with work standards.

Piercings are amazing, I'm so addicted haha 6 holes in each ear, my eyebrow and my tongue. Love them all for their own reasons <3

yeahh i got a plastic retainer the other dayy and put concealer on the end of it
people are actually asking me if iv taken it outt!
the only thing is that its bent on a right angle so its dead hard to get in and out of my nosee
other than that its great!
thanks for the ideaa! ^_^

Does someone know if ear gauges grow back to normal? I hear people saying that if you don't go above 0G you will be fine, but others tell me they will never get back to normal without surgery. And even then you have to hope your earlobe will look as it was before.
I really love it, but I don't want to risk getting weird earlobes. My current boss doesn't mind, but I worked for others before that do.

I heard if you don't stretch them bigger than 1cm (don't know what that is in gauge numbers!) then they'll heal back to normal, so you should be fine with 8mm. But don't take my word for it, cos I can't remember where I heard that!

yeah aslong as you dont go over 1cm they should shrink back and thats if you've stretched them slowly so you dont get a build up of scar tissue mine are at 6mm and if i left them out overnight they would shrink back and i'd have to start stretching again i plan to go up to 1cm just gotta find the money for the tapers and tunnels.

Thanks both of you for the reply. I was wondering, did you just start stretching on your own? Cause I already have both of my earlobes pierced and I was wondering if I can just start out by putting 14G pieces in. A friend of mine went to a piercer to get it started.

i've done all my stretching so far myself i find it better because when your pushing the taper through you can tell how fast your body wants to go and how far you can get it in. i bought all the things i need off the net the tapers and plugs. i dont know about tapers but i started with some 2mm tapers i find the first stretch is always the hardest and your ears will burn! theres loads of info out on the net about stretching and thats where i read up all about doing it.

if you have any specific questions gimme a shout:flower:

Nice to find fellow piercing-lovers.

When I was 21 years old I had 12 or 14 piercings. Most of the piercings were concentrated on my ears, but I also had a lot of facial piercings. I had two eyebrow, one lip, one tongue, one monroe piercing, bellybutton, and my clavicle pierced. My clavicle piercing was gorgeous, but short-lived because it migrated in 6 months.

Now I'm piercing free. I still have fond memories, though!

I would never wear piercings. And I sure as crap wouldn't wear any in uncomforting places. Piercings (and I'm talking about for both sexes) anywhere besides the ears or the belly is tasteless and horribly ugly. I get a lot of living nightmares seeing piercings in various other places. Like I could probably think of those piercings just underneath the bottom lip. Almost saying something like, "don't kiss me on the lips" or whatever. It's not my thing.

Ear Piercings - perfectly fine
Navel Piercings - acceptable
Anywhere else - :yuk: <<< or do you REALLY want my dark side to speak on piercings other than the two aforementioned areas?

I'd never get a piercing. No ambition/desire/need to get one. Not everyone has to have a hardcore rock star mentality on life. Because I'm CERTAINLY not in that category.

.......what the hell?! That's really offensive, and really closed-minded. Part of fashion is to appreciate individual style and the fact that people should be choose to wear what they like. And in my opinion, that extends to piercings. I have my tongue pierced, and used to have a lip ring, and I happen to think that neither of them are "tasteless" or "horribly ugly". I personally think belly piercings are kind of tacky, but that doesn't mean I go round mouthing off about it. It just means I keep it to myself, and I'd never openly insult someone with a belly bar.

Plus, you don't have to have a "hardcore rock star mentality" to get a piercing. That's such a stereotype. If you're "not in that category", that's fine, and if you don't want a piercing, don't get one, but don't come into a thread designed specifically to talk about piercings and start insulting them. I'm all for free speech and having your own opinion, but there's a difference between making your point reasonably, and just bitching, and if you ask me that was the latter.
