What are people's opinions on lip rings?

contrary to everyone ever, i actually think it depends on the person (as well as the type of piercing). in the end, it really does draw attention to your lips, so have nice lips.

this is just me, and i'm sure many will disagree, but i personally love seeing facial piercings paired with a polished look -- none of that badly-dyed-hair-over-the-eyes hot topic crap.

my new tapers have arrived and i have just put them in it was easier than last time but i really hate the burning sensation you get afterwards

i went from 2mm to 4mm i aim to get to 8mm which is o gauge.

slow and steady throughly boring but will be worth it to get those beautiful plugs.

What are people's opinions on lip rings?

My sister has one. At first I thought it was horrible, but now I've actually started to like it on her. It suits her and her style. So I think it depends on the person and your style.
Just be sure to moist your lips - cracked lips and lip ring is a bad combination!

awww don't have an other half right now but the majority of my exs said don't tamper with perfection but I did it anyway .... it was for me, I was curious.

I think it depends on the individual. Some look good some don't. In my opinion a facial piercing/stud on the upper lip is a safer bet for guarantee that it would look good. IMHO

I got both my nipples done at the same time about 6 years ago. They didn't hurt being done, but one boob bruised up lots. Thy healed well, but hurt like hell for ages after if I ever caught them in the shower or anything. I have never taken the bars out as I don't fancy trying to put other ones in. I fancied having rings, rather than the bars, but chickened out!

I got both mine done in May, and I don't think that I've ever felt as much of a blinding pain as I did for those 15 minutes. But I don't regret it at all, I love mine

I was really torn for a while but I'm so "cautious" I was like IM ONLY DOING ONE then I couldn't decide which one .

I'm still getting accustomed to the look but I don't think it looks too weird or off balance. And after the pain I dunno if I'll do the other.

How do you feel about piercing 1 or both and why.

I made up my mind the day before I got them done, because I knew that I'd chicken out if I waited much longer. I love mine, because I did it for me, and not someone else. I also love that it's more of a private piercing, as opposed to something that everyone can see. If I had to do it over, I'd still get both done, but I think that getting either one or both done is awesome! I hope that helps!

When I was younger, like my early-teens, I loved piercings. I had my left nostril, septum, ears -- three in my left, four in my right, one in my tragus -- and belly pierced (but the belly piercing didn't go over too well, so it was short lived). It was all just a teenage phase thing, because to be honest I wouldn't wear any of them given the chance. I only wear earrings, and I'm content with that. I admit I am interested in a nipple piercing, though. I probably won't be getting one any time soon though (too scared, lol).

I really miss my nose ring. I'd normally wear a tiny rhinestone stud, so it was very subtle.. though I loved the look of a small ring. I'll probably do it sometime in the future again

23 seconds, what happened with your belly piercing? Mine totally wouldn't heal no matter what I did.. So I made the decision to take it out. I miss it, but feel like I can move easier now without worrying about it!

Pretty much the same thing. I just got frustrated and just took it out!

My septum was my favorite piercing! It doesn't hurt at all, it just sort of tickles. Good luck!

a lot of people are like "eww wtf ugly piercing" but i think it is sooo cool!
and GOOD about it not hurting, i wasnt worried too much about the pain anyways but its always nice to hear
