nothing crazy really. They all came out though. Just not my thing I guess.
I geuss I didnt like stuff stuck in my body. But getting them was fun, I like the pain, or sensation.

I got my tracus pierced (the small part of your ear that's attached to your head- great description!) and I always got compliments and I thought it was cute. When I got back to school, for some reason, it kept getting infected. Eventually, it scarred my ear and led to partial ear loss. So, no more piercings for me! I thought it was a way to be unique, but not now that I've lost hearing! I'm working on other, safer ways for that side to be shown!

Nope, I did everything I was supposed to! I got it done in May, it was fine all summer. But come September, it kept getting infected. My doctor said it could have been change in the water (we have really, really hard water) and chemicals or environment. Also, stress raises your chances of getting infections. Naturally, school = stress!

Kimkhuu, my boyfriend has his septum pierced, i don't want to post pictures of him without asking him first but i'm sure he won't mind if i post some of his septum piercing , He has 7 piercings all together, we're big on piercings in this house haha.

I know i've said it before, but if you need any advice, info, pics, inspiration, bmezine is deffinately the best place to go, i'll try find the photo from when i was on the front page of it, when i had all my piercings.

Anyways...I couldn't go to a piercing shop so I didn't get my nipples done last night

So last night I called my friend to see if they would come and pierce my ears again for me and/or bellybutton for the hell of it. We have our own professional piercing kit. We can do those at home but that's because we know what we're doing and she has pierced dozens of people in those spots that it's just as good as a professional....anything else though will be brought to a shop to pierce.

So I just did my ear again last night...

This just makes me want my tattoo more and more though

Ear piercing question

Quick ? to all,

I got my ears pieced 4 years ago but they got infected and closed. Now one of my holes is half open still. Should I pierce it myself as long as I clean it and use the right earings?

^ No way! You dont want to do it yoruself as its dangerous and could cause infection still.

4 years is a long time for them to be closed. My piercings often close sometimes and i just poke an earring through... it hurts a lot..

Go to Claire's and get it repierced with 14K gold studs. When I got my triple holes pierced there for my 17th birthday (early May), I got 14K studs and I haven't had an infection.

Do not go to claires to get it pierced pleeease!

They use piercing guns at claires, you need to go to a professional who will pierce it with a piercing needle, which is ten times safer and much less painful.

I got my ears pierced today!The top part of it(Gisele has it in the same place) and I love it and I think it looks great.
I hate facial piercings, I wouldn't mess with my face but I must admit that it looks great on many people.
Now I don't like belly piercings, it just to common and everyone has one. I never liked them though, first I thought they were tacky and now I think they are just too common.

Help with Piercing (ears)

I already have one hole in each ear, and am thinking about getting another one right behind the first one every ear.................my friend however thinks it looks better to have like one hole on one side and two on the other or 2 on the one side and 3 on the other............what do you prefer ? do you know celebs who have 2 on every side and also some who have like only 1 on the one side and 2 on the other ? do you have pics ? excuse my english, i hope you understand what i want to say, i´m from germany.............

To go along with the Tattoos thread

So what do people think about piercings? This is different from the Ear Piercing thread in that this is about ANY kind of it. What do people have? Where is the line drawn?

For me, I have three in each ear and I'm getting my bellybutton done this weekend. It was tough to convince my mom on the bellybutton, but quite a few parents these days don't want to see their kids getting anything besides ears-and some don't even let their kids get their ears done until 16 or so. However, body piercings are so common at my school you'd think it was a requirement. Half of the flaggers have some sort of piercing, most common ones being nose, eyebrow, and bellybutton, with one girl having a Marilyn piercing on each side and a lip ring.

However, I would draw the line on piercings at basic facial and limit it to one. A small eyebrow piercing can look quite nice. A tiny nose stud is also pretty. A Marilyn is a bit unexpected but you can cover it to look like a beautymark. However I think lip rings are a bit tacky, IMO. Tongue rings have all sorts of health problems tied to them. My dad would say no facial piercings-including tongue-because very few employers like them, face it. The bellybutton, at least it can be hidden when it needs to be.

Oh, well, I only have my ears pierced - seven small rings - four in one ear and three in the other... Like it quite a lot despite of that it's difficult to take care of. Had it done when I was 15.
I also wanted to have the classic belly piercing when I was much younger - 14, but I didn't. Shortly after that everyone had their navels pierced, so I didn't really regret it since I wouldn't like to have anything that's so not original... Now I think of belly button rings as almost tacky (IMO)...
I also wanted to have my nose pierced on a side, but I didn't do that either... Kinda regret it - I'd love to have an impressing ring in my nose... Now I think it must be too late as I'm not a high-school teenager anymore, so I may be "too old" for that, which is sad...
