I love my belly button piercing, I want more! I have 3 piercings in each ear, I love the pain... I'm thinking about getting a tragus piercing in each ear. BF thinks I'm mad  I'd love to have some in the face, but I really don't have the face for it

I'd actually love a tattoo behind my ear, but unfortunately, tattoos from the neck up aren't allowed in Denmark

there not allowed? wtf!!!!

I have a 6mm tunnel in each ear and then a second piercing in each with a silver stud.

my boyfriend has his eyebrow and nose pierced. I like them they look hot.

Interesting. I know that you can't donate blood for a few months after getting a tattoo, but that's just a preliminary measure for decreasing the risk of infected blood donations.

about.com

It is the powerful magnetic force that creates a concern, not only to those who are tattooed, but also to anyone with metal objects in their bodies such as implants (dental or otherwise), pacemakers or even metal fragments. The magnetic force of an MRI machine is so strong, even the “weakest” machine used (about 0.5-tesla) is 10,000 times the strength of the Earth’s magnetic field. Even small metal objects such as paperclips or keys can become projectile weapons if left in an MRI room during a scan. So, what does all of this have to do with tattoos? Well, it appears that about 20 years ago and further, tattoo ink was sometimes comprised of small fragments of metal as well as other ingredients. This was long before tattoos were ever regulated and before more serious thought was given as to the safety of tattoo ink ingredients. Some MRI patients who have had tattoos that dated back far enough to have received ink that contained metal bits have reported slight discomfort to severe pain during an MRI scan.

So I guess it's just old school tattoos, and good ol' mom will be able to have an MRI :p I guess we need Ida to tell us why they've been outlawed in Denmark. Maybe it's an aesthetic thing? Here facial tattoos are common in the prison system ...

Ooh, there was an episode of "House, MD." that dealt with that. When I watched the episode, I didn't understand the explanation, but now I get it.

i dont have any piercings i am really scared of needles, so yeah i'm just a wuss :)

ahah i used to be a bit like that but then i went a bit piercing mad!
s'funny i still cant get injections with out cryin and completely freaking out though!

I was wondering if one has exceptionally small ears, should they go for multiple ear piercings?

I have very small ears and i'm afraid that a helix piercing will draw attention to them. anyone seen people with small ears having multiple ear piercings? How did those look?

^Piercings draw attention to an area, so I imagine very small ears would be more attractive with multiple piercings than unusually big ears. It may be preferable to stick to delicate multiple earrings rather than large ones. Here's a link someone posted a few pages back, it might give you some inspiration:

I have no idea. They're just not allowed.

I have nine piercings. Three in each ear, nose, eyebrow and bellybutton.

For work, I just take the eyebrow and nose out. :)

love them!
but i would never have the guts
also my friend can never wear a metal one bc she chips her teeth when she does
i know that they are very easy to hide if you get a retainer, which is a plus if you cant have piercings at workk.

im still hoping to get my septum pierced but i had a dream the other day that really put me off, some girl ran up to me whod had it done and said blood came out of her ears
i was like :|!
i still really need to find a way of saving up for it thoughh!
its like £35 i think,

anyone who already has it done,
would you say a black retainer is best or a clear one, also, can you get matte ones instead of shiny?

I work in a dental office and we see alot of people chip their teeth on their tongue rings.
Alot of people also complain it gives them bad breath and an odd taste in their mouth.

I had one back in my late teens but didn't keep it long at all b/c I found it annoying.
Your tongue heals up completely and very fast if you take it out though. Unlike other face area piercings which can leave you with a tiny hole forever.
