^that's why I like it(it's heals fast). Cause when i become old and a mum i dont want my kids to be like 'is that a tongue ring?' LOL
There are plastic tongue rings right? and your teeth chip only if you play with it right?
broken- i was looking online about it,but sense you had one does it take alot of work to make sure it's sanitary?

I have had people tell me they chipped their tooth on it while eating.

I really didn't have it very long at all (3 weeks maybe) and kept it clean by keeping my mouth clean ( brush, floss, mouthwash) but did have a metallic taste which made my mouth feel yucky to me.

Thank you for the advice:flower:

i have tragus piercing my left nipple is pierced and i have navel ring. :P

i already have my nose, helix and lobes done but im getting the bottom of my navel, my septum and possibly my rook although iv heard its really painfull so im not too sure?

also ive been reading about septum piercings, and apparently if they get the right spot to pierce it doesnt hurt that much, how can i ensure that my piercer getd it right?

fashionjunkiexx i've only ever heard to it refered to as the 'sweet spot' its a small gap of skin just before the cartiledge in your nose you can squeeze and feel where it is im not sure about finding the bit that doesnt hurt though since it has to be near the front of your nose to hang right. anyway i wouldnt worry about the pain its a pinch that thats the best way i can describe it to you.

i've just been buying some new jewellery for my piercings i found a website with a good choice of jewellery and im abit bored of the jewellery i got with my piercings plus i love the coloured bars and rings you can get^_^

thankyou!

i know im going through with it whatever happens but im just trying to reasure myself abit , its the part before a piercing that worst for me tbh because im such a worrier!

im in need of some new jewelery for my piercings aswell, i dont know how but i seem to lose everthing i buy, my rooms not even that big but my jewelery manages to disapear somehow!

i get all worked up before a piercing excitement and anticipation but the piercer i go to is really calming and chatty so i soon forget and then its done.

i need to figure out how to get the cbr out of my tragus i wana put a black one in but im sure it would involve pliars of some sort.

I have four right now [two on each earlobe] & I'll be getting an industrial bar piercing in a couple of months.

I just wanted to know what it's like, [I hear that it's painful] and if anyone who has had this piercing has any advice about it. ^_^

i was talking to my friend about this recently and she said it was painful but nothing unbearable and that it was less painful than some other piercings shes had done.

i love piercings, i got my belly pierced when i was 18, and i loved it ever since i was 10. and i dont regret getting it one bit. n two piercings in each ear lobe.

i had a piercing in my nose (a nose ring actually) but i only used it for half a year and then never again... so, now i'm very happy that it healed very well :p

Ears 3x (don't wear earrings nowadays) nose, belly button. I did have my lip pierced but took it out some time ago.

i finally went ahead and got my septum donee :)! i got so nervous though that she put the clamps on 4 times before i actually let her do it! but it was well worth it
i swear it didnt even hurt! but now its flipped up
does anyone know if theres a problem with doing this whilst its healing?
please tell me as im quite worried about it!

i have my septum as well, and when i first got it done i would occasionally flip it up at night (in fact the lady even recommended i do that), so there isnt any harm in flipping it while it is healing!
the only thing is sometimes the little crusty things heal on the ring, so it make it hard/painful to flip down or move. i had lots of times where it went crooked when i slept or whatever, and when i tried to straighten it, it was stuck, so i had to twist it quickly or something, which can be painful

i wore my retainer flipped up the whole time until i healed enough to put a circlular barbel in it. i didnt like the way it looked the two straight bits poking out of my nose:lol: just flip it down once a day to make sure it isnt migrating and healing wonky.

im getting my philtrum done once i get the money.

i figured i can only really get away with facial piercings while im still relatively young (i think im old when really im not)

what does everyone think of tongue piercings?

I love mine. Had it for a while now. I've had no problems. For work, I but in the clear retainer. The bead got lost on my half-inch bar and I had a hard time finding another one that size. I found a lot of 3/8 (which I bought, but never tried) and 6/8's which I'm wearing right now and have been wearing since last July.

As far as breath, I always feel like my breath is gross regardless. My boyfriend always assured me that I never tasted bad or anything though. He loves it. It's my second favorite piercing. I just love the aesthetic. It was my dream for years, but my mom had been vehemently against. I got it done after leaving for college. Be prepared for a sucky week of healing though. The piercing process itself feels strange more than painful. Least painful piercing I've ever had done.

Yea, I have one. Most piercing shops should do it for free, especially if you got the piercing done there. I recommend that you get it done professionally. You can purchase ring-opening and ring-closing pliers, however. Just don't do something brash like taking a random pair of pliers and twisting away. At the very least for the first time go to your piercer, talk to them, see what they do, etc. B)

I imagine piercingmart.com has something that can help you out. I've ordered from them on a few occasions.

yeah its just the hassle of it im lazy:lol:

supose i'll ask when i go to get my philtrum done. i was fine putting the captive bar ring in my septum when i decided to change it and its kinda the same set up as a cbr but cbr's seem to be pretty sturdy!

it doesnt bother me changing it since its a bit of a hassle not as easy as regular earings or bars, and hey all my lovely piercings match each other not sure if throwing a black one in there is a good idea unless i change them all (i like jewellery to match:ninja:)

Mine kinda match. I built a rainbow on each each, but a muted rainbow because I used all colors. And it was after I did the 3rd and 4th lobe holes that i realized they sent me the wrong size for the blue, and it's smaller than the others. So I'm gonna flip the light blue and amethyst when I get a chance . . . meaning when I'm also not too lazy.

I've been meaning to change my tragus too, but I've grown attached to it. It was my first "real piercing." I definitely need to change my two other captive bead rings though. They're just too big. And I have horribly ugly ears to begin with.

Have fun with that philtrum. I wish I could pull off facial piercings, but I have neither delicate, nor striking features. The most I suppose I could do would be an eyebrow piercing. But then career-wise, it would not be a good idea. Siiiigh. I should have gotten it done years ago when I was 16.

a rainbow sounds cool its so annoying trying to get perfect fitting jewellery or maybe its the lazy factor of changing proper bars etc. its not like you'd stick in a new pair every day like regular earings. ha i always have to guess gauges since i always forget to ask what they are luckily im quite good at guessing:lol:

to be honest i dont think you have to have delicate features or a striking face to pull off facial piercings it just has to fit and you have the confidence to pull it off. i mean my nose is the worst feature on my face its a strange shape and i really shouldnt have put more emphasis on it with my septum but it works so im happy^_^ i really wanted a nostril piercing too but because of its shape it would look so outta place but hey you cant have everything can you!?

you make me remember my first 'real' piercing and it was my nipple it was a birthday thing which is very random thinking about it now. i think im too old for piercings now in my mind but really when i think about it im not:lol:
