What do you think of ponchos? I've noticed a lot more girls have been wearing them. They seem to be a must have now.

I think they're cute, if you pair them with jeans and a t-shirt. It's best to choose the colorful ones cause they don't have that granny's shawl feeling to them. ;)

Its a little played out, but it is a cute look with jeans and flip flops or uggs. Please do not wear them with heels, that is just way to tacky Jessica Simpson.

On another note, I saw a guy wearing one the other day and it actually didnt look that bad, not for me, but not bad.

What was the guy wearing it with?? I'm just curious.. ;)

I saw a girl wearing a very thing, off the shoulder one on tv the other day it was very cute..

anyone know where to get one like that??

I wore a wooly like, really long poncho with jeans to a high school football game this year. It was dark red plaid and I loved it.

Some girl a year older than me goes to another girl, "Why is she wearing an afghan?" Mind you, they were wearing Baby Phat tee shirts ;)

You should have turned to her and said, "'cause I whupped yer granny's *** and stole it from her."

That would shut the snotty, uncreative wench's mouth. I'm sure you looked cute.

I'd like to see the style of ponchos you folks are talking about. I think I might have something like that hanging around my attic...

oo, i hate girls like the baby phat girls. they thing that they're all ghetto and stuff and they're really not they're just b*tches that think they can dress well
and i'm sure ur poncho was cute ;)

 I happen to like the granny shawl feeling...very vintage :flower:
Im looking for a good decent one..i saw a woman wearing one the other day and she looked great, but the prices on some of them are a rip off :flower:

I personally like the less vintagey ones i guess ;) I like the yarn kind of material more than wool... it makes it more youthful :) And vibrant colours like rainbow pinstripes paired with jeans and a t-shirt looks great! :flower:

I really like more home made pesanty ponchos  , but not these new trendy jlo esque ones

Hahahaha this brings up an inside joke between me and my mom...
My dad got my mom a horrid black rabbit fur poncho for her birthday and wow, it just comes up all the time. I really can't wear a poncho after that experience. Too Hilary Duff for me anyways.

I was just coming on here to say the exact same thing. :ninja:

i like plain ponchos in all colours.
i saw a man wearing a cream poncho over a long sleeved tee with pink cords  & he had a ponytail. he looked so hippyish

I saw a guy who actually pulled off a poncho :P ...white cashmere poncho with some white pants....he actually was very hot... ..i wanted his number LMAO  :ninja:

I found something interesting....a skirt that can be turned into a poncho

Short people(like me) look like little hobbits when they wear ponchos..

I'm short and I look just fine in a poncho. The key wearing one that doesn't hang too low; an asymetrical one works as well. You don't want to be overwhelmed by the thing then you would look like a hobbit.

I find that shorter ponchos work better on short girls like me. I'm only five foot four inches tall. ;)
