Mango did these pants (in black and brown) 4 or 5 yers ago.. I have them in brown and used to get weird stares in the street when I was wearing them... last year I bought a black pair from Zara and a green coloured soft-cotton pair of shorts (they come down to the knee) from e-bay... They are veeeeery comfy and laid back and I love them... but something tells me that this year I'll be only wearing them around the house, since the trend predictions say that they will be a major street uniform for this summer...

I think they look attrocious. They look like someone started to make a skirt and messed up, so as a joke they decided to sew on some leggings or something. It looks like a fashion experiment gone bad.

Say no to George Washington MC Hammer pants.

They have nothing to do with MC Hammer, unlessyou wear them like him...

i like them. i like the glam take on them or the to the knee casual ones, like the grey jersey pair a page or so back... sorry don't have post #

lol^ You know! I have a 5 month old son and sometimes I see his pants how the crotch is so low cause of the huge diaper and I think of these pants

Found some different versions on www.3suisses.fr by KamaBeach but unfortunately they don't place orders outside France or Belgium. They call this type of pants 'sarouel'. The Kanabeach old-pink version is my favourite (also seen on www.kanabeach.com). Has anybody an idea how to order this in the Netherlands online?

Reminiscent of a dhoti, but with less effort required. We'll not likely see dhotis paired with skull t-shirts and ugg boots anytime soon.

Quality fabric could make up for some of the casualness of the look. I'd wear the look in good silk, rayon, linen, or 100% cotton. Would look nice with a kurta-type long blouse, or contrasted with a crisply-tailored yet minimalist jacket. Cheap poly/cotton knit just makes it pyjamas. And somebody keep lace, sequins, embroidery, and lurex thread far away.

That picture with the red&white plaid on the cuffs and heart-shaped belt buckle, and the one to the left of it wasn't much better!

.....

..!

.... :yuk:.....!!!

.

Boy, what a mess!
