I've just been given a poncho that comes across my shoulders then down to about mid upper arm and is not loose (but not skintight). It looks good on a short person - I'm 5foot 3inches so try a little shorter - or asymetrical might work, maybe a little longer at the back.

HOW LONG do you think ponchos will stick around?? I've found them to be soOOoOoo flattering to my body type (shorty over here as well ) and sexy if done right ...I'd love to get some more but I'm afraid they'll be gone pretty soon....any of you feel that way?

Don't know, I've been seeing people wearing vintage ponchos for 2-3 years, it doesn't seem to be hyped up to much so I guess it could last for a while over here.

But if its a big trend where you are I don't know if it'll still be trendy come next winter, I doubt it... usually things like this only survive one winter..

we'll i've been wearing ponchos all winter long and i just found a poncho that doubles as a wrap around your waist. i love them and as long as the airconditoner is blasting at work, i'll be waering them forever.

I've been seeing ponchos worn with jeans and heels and for some reason always sunglasses for a while now. I like them but I usually see them worn the same way by the same 'type' of girl to the same places (its a big brunch outfit, I'm convinced.....).

I agree but I won't say she is my favorite ... I am torn about the poncho I posted. On one hand it's slightly different which is cute but I hate the way it looks like I took a rug from off the floor and pinned it with a small rhinestone pin.
