i have some pants kind of like this. i got them last summer at h&m for really cheap- they were on sale. i didnt know it was really any kind of trend though.
mine are olive green cotton, mid-calf length they get tight at the bottoms, with pleats, and the crotch isnt too too big but bigger than the avrage pants. strangly i get compliments on them a lot but i even think they look kinda strange however i love them at the same time.

they are fine with someone's individual style

..but i have a horrible vision of every other teenager buying them because they are trendy (not to mention the fact that most of them would not been caught dead in them otherwise).

eww.

Here in Rome many many girls use to wear this pants. I never bought it 'cause they are not so cute on me, but they're not so bad! it's a tipe of style, maybe not mine!

I remember these from the 80s and we called them harem pants. Too much like MC Hammer...we'll have to wait and see if these become popular or how long they last. It looks surprisingly good on some of the people in the pics in this thread though.

the remind me of pants I was forced to wear as a child and they were then called multiples

:woot: mirra, i loved the printed look!! so cool.

i'm not really fond of the sweat pants with long crotches...probably because i've never really been fond of sweatpants worn as normal clothes. people look flabby even if most of them go to the gym.

There are these REALLY nice ones, that I bought the other day..J.Lindeberg Tove Golden Denim!

They are abit baggy, and they're skinny by the ankles..you know?
I couldn't find a picture of them..so I might take a picture myself..but try to find them..they're really nice:D! and comfy 2!

i personally dont like this style...
u know they got inspired from the old arabic harem in the olddays...their pants were like these..and syrian guys where something like this!

This style is Soooo hiphop, i love it, word! big up! all the cats should wear them, its tha bomb! word!

Hmm..even Mango has included them as part of their upcoming spring 06 collection..expect Zara to come up with their own version soon:

...I recently tried this trend...I hope I didn't look ridiculous because I liked it. The ones that have no shape or way too low on the crotch though look really bad

The pants, with a creme victorian styled tee and a short fitted jacket.

I wonder where to get another pair....mine was a gift from someone in Europe.

A lot of Europeans would come into my store during the summer wearing these and I hated them at first, but the more I saw them, the more I wanted them! Too bad they don't sell them here in NYC (at least I haven't seen them.) I would also be laughed at, I'm sure, wearing them around campus at my university upstate with all the girls in their Juicy Couture and Vera Bradley bags.

Everything comes back, but the fabrications, weight and attitude (accessories) render it fresh. We need a new casual silhouette and this works perfectly with many an existing staple and a great alternative to hyper skinny pants.

just the kind i hate :)

^^ and who could blame you mulletProof :)

this is the ultimate 'look at me' effect, bit tacky imo

I really like those vanessa bruno pants. I saw similar at H&M, they also had sweat pants with croch at knees. but that was monts ago.. I'm still sorry for not buying them

i went to Barcelona the summer before last and a woman had these kind of pants on. They were gorgeous, Black cotton with a wide waist band and were skinny and fitted at the ankles. The woman wore them with casual flip flops. I saw a pair in a local shop but did.t get them which im gutted about now!!!!
