Proenza Schouler for Target

wow, i wonder how much more collete will be charging...

i just checked my tracking info and my PS items have been misshipped apparently. this really stinks! and i wont be able to go to opening ceremony either...

maybe they'll do a derek lam collection...

ANYWAY:
At my local Target(s) they have a big sign up that says Feb. 1st (not Feb 4th)
I don't know why they are sending out two different dates...

OH NO Lucy92, that does stink. I just checked the tracking on my package and it says that it already is in Maryland (is being shipped to DC). I hope I get it soon! If I do, I will post about sizing and stuff, because I did buy multiple sizes.

Sadly, I have barely ever posted, but I did want to give a "public service announcement" and let you girls (and guys) know that I received part of my shipment, and I was able to try on the bustier dress....in my opinion, it fits exactly the same as the other collections have...I have worn a size 5 in Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, etc. and the size 5 in Proenza Schouler fits perfectly! So hopefully this is good news for everyone! I have no complaints whatsoever about how the dress fits. The straps cross in the back and also have adjusters so that you can tighten/losen them. The material looks fine...I know that I will enjoy the dresses. Hope that everyone enjoys their purchases!

Pictures!!!!!!!!:buzz: and if there's conflicting dates, maybe i'll hop on in on FEB 1 too.........

I hate to be such an idiot, but can someone tell me how to post photos? I will post some "non-model" photos of the bustier dress in purple. Thanks in advance!

save the photos somewhere on your computer.

And also, this is straight out of the box, with wrinkles, tags, et al...Let me know what you think!

that is SOOOOOOOOOO cute! okay...im kicking myself in the butt now for not ordering................

I think that tomorrow, I am supposed to receive my order that contains the blue bustier top...if noone has posted pictures of that item yet, then I will post when I get it.

thank you! the blue is the color i was going to order...i dont think i look all that good in grape...

the dress looks amazing on you, miss priss! i cant wait to get one!
do you think the cup size will be an issue for anyone?

Lucy92, I hate to give away my numbers, but I completely thought the same thing about the cup size...I am a size 2/4 usually and a 34B. The cups of the dress are definitely defined and slightly padded...I hope that this helps. I do not need any kind of bra or anything with the dress.

I got my grape bustier dress this afternoon... It's pretty well made, and it fit rather nicely. The bustier part is softly padded so it gives a decent solid form.
I am awaiting the rest of my order which should arrive tomorrow or the day after...
btw: misspriss the dress looks fabulous on you!

i think i am going to have to get a size 7 dress, hopefully the cup area wont be gappy on me. i think i might need that padding!

Ermm, why do Target only commission designers for womenswear and not menswear as well?

i know.. :( well, they did do a keanan duffty collection, but that doesn't really count. they should do something with patrik ervell or alexander wang or someone like that. i doubt they would, but it would be nice.

lucy and jun3machina, I think that you will be fine and will not have a problem with the top gaping...the little strap adjusters really do allow you to make the top as tight or as loose as you need.
