Project Runway Season 3

Ugh, read Andy's blog, and I still think that Jeff is a jerk. Yeah, it's great that he got sober and everything, but sobriety doesn't make someone a good person; respect and kindness do.

orchide, loved reading andy's interview with jeffry. thanks!

imo, the way jeffrey treats others is a reflection of the way they treat him.... so, i have no problem with him being a "jerk" when it's provoked. love jeffery!

Michael is going to win. Hands down. The man knows how to dress a woman and leaves behind all the drama of the fashion industry. While it makes for good tv, doesn't translate well in making people love you ad your collections. I think it will be Laura (boring, but easy and classic), Jeffery (exotic and punk very exciting) Michael (perfect.)...I CANT WAIT FOR THE FINALLY!

Ps. they are really good about keeping the winner a secret. I live in ny and I havent seen or heard anything about who wins....

^ As much as the majority of us would like Michael to win, I doubt he will. The top favorties (Kara Saun, Daniel Vosovic) usually never win, it's the 2nd tier favorites that come through.

I think it'll go to Jeffery or Laura.

From this piece, it seems that Jeffrey has a decent biz within his niche, which makes me wonder why he'd go on PR.

How could you know who has won?
They filmed the outcome on a closed set:innocent:
Here is a link to a profile on Jeff in today's LA Times- its really revealing and inspiring in terms of the hard life he has had and how he chose to turn his life around...made me tear up a little:cry:

well, at this point, even if you are guessing, you have a 1 in 4 shot at being right:lol:

The poster at JJB got their info from a friend of a friend. They said the winner is **Jeffrey**. Since edgy models claims to also know who the winner is, do you agree with the person at JJB, edgy models?

from nymag:

Internal Investigation Rocks ‘Runway’

How bad at sewing is Project Runway final-four contestant Jeffrey Sebelia? A few months ago, the show’s uneliminated contestants left the supervision of the producers to go home and work on their collections. But when they returned for their group show at Bryant Park, fellow contestant Laura Bennett accused Sebelia of cheating. Three weeks earlier, Tim Gunn, Parsons fashion design chair and the show’s mentor, had visited Sebelia in L.A. and declared, “He had a lot of work to do.” Word reached Bennett, whose mother had met and become friendly with Sebelia’s mother. Upon seeing Sebelia’s miraculously finished collection, Bennett told the producers she believed Sebelia had outsourced his sewing—which would disqualify him. “His collection was very ambitious,” says Gunn. “I wasn’t born yesterday.” Adding fuel to the fire was Sebelia’s rather unfinished style of construction throughout the show. “We took the accusation very seriously, and we did a very intense and thorough investigation,” says Gunn. Bravo would not allow him to reveal the resolution. The three finalists will be revealed September 27, and the winner October 18. Sebelia didn’t return calls.

Oh boy, the controversies are just incessant this season  This definitely seems more serious than what happened to Keith, though.

wow... i wonder if its true about him cheating..i would think that he would have learned from the keith incident?

then there is the spoilers. i couldnt help but look.

this gets very interesting......

Laura sounds extremely bitter, she must be the decoy. I doubt anything will come of this "investigation" because realistically they have no way of knowing if Jeffrey did the sewing himself or had someone else do it. I love how Laura makes the leap from Tim saying Jeffrey had a lot of work to do and then seeing Jeffrey's collection and she assumes he cheated. Jeffrey's collection must look pretty damn good in person

Oddly enough, professionals in the industry as educators can usually tell if someone has had something sewn professionally. I've seen kids work get ripped to shreds (literally) when they turn up from vacation with a blouse perfectly finished that they've had so much trouble with in the months before. There is a professional way of finishing a garment, someone with a good eye will be able to tell, especially if the garment is particularly fussy.

They are allowed to outsource their sewing. Remember Jay hired his sis to crochet for him? They have to provide receipts.
Someone on Blogging Project Runway made the point that this piece in in the gossip area of the magazine.
Also, someone posted a reply on this girl's myspace where Jeffrey addressed it and he seems to be quite confident sounding which I personally doubt he would be if any of this held water:
Speaking of MySpace, Jeffrey just left a comment on my page that I think it's probably okay to share, considering it's out in the open and all.

"Hey!!! Thanks for the concern, but all I have to say is be careful of what you read and also of what is presented in the press. Those people take any information they get(usually unfounded rumors) and just print them in order to bolster their own readership with no regard to the person they might be slandering. They are just doing their job as bottom feeding, sludge dredging , no-life having journalists. Not all are like that. In fact a credible journalist might fact check and actually consult all parties before wrecklessly printing such an accusation. Beleive me, there have been other possible tabloid stories that could have been printed along they way, but those people thought about their responsibility and decided not to pollute people just for their sensationalism. As a reader, I would encourage you to write new York magazine and ask them to clarify their sources, and challenge them to print the motivation for their actions. Maybe because I'm not a rich, pregnant social climber from New York...everything can be subjective."
More than one person suggested this "leak" was done by Bravo themselves to hype up the show even more...which I could see happening:innocent:
