Project Runway Season 3

I saw that too!! I did a double-take.. I really loved his personality last season! Isn't it funny the weird places ex-PR contestants show up??

Did anyone else spot Jay McCarroll on "House of Boateng"? Weird.

Jay is so different now! Slimmed down, short hair, angular glasses, wearing black all the time... I sort of miss looking forward to his wild get-ups each episode. His personality, too, seems a lot more "toned down." More corporate and mod, I guess...

Yeah I definately wasn't expecting that! But I really liked him too. I especially liked the outfit that got him kicked out. Hehe. I thought it was adorable, but it wasn't right for the challenge.

I think Jay looks more proffesional, since he toned down his look. I like it, he looks like a designer now. IMO.

shopdiary, that's funny cause i was just coveting those boots. i really want some black pixie boots!!

i was thinking about it and i'm not sure who i really like besides alison. i think robert is incredibly talented but his style isn't really "me". it seems so over-the-top feminine (naturally, designing for barbie probably requires it). michael is very promising. i like laura a lot but her designs seem very old-park-avenue-lady-chic...which is nice...but kind of a one note.

kayne is too gawdy for me. he should stick to pageants. michael will probably go far...his stuff seems cool. i dunno about uli. her mix of patterns is impressive but like others have said, all her dresses have the same shape! meh on jeffrey. i was disappointed by him cause i like that "rocker aesthetic". but it seems a little forced. angela i hate. vincent is crazy...in a rick moranis way.

i adore bradley personality-wise but that dog outfit was just awful. i think i'm pretty good at appreciating conceptual stuff but her figure looked awful in that outfit. especially the profile view, which nina said must be lovely. it wasn't!

I think Allison is capable of designing cute, girly, feminine outfits, but not cutting-edge top-designer looks.

i think allison is so adorable! her stuff does seem more fun and wearable, more RTW than haute/designer.

ditto! not a fan of his. anyway, i actually like bradley's play with proportions although those kind of things tend to be very esoteric.

I dunno, the outfit Alison designed for the doggie challenge was pretty cutting edge.

I love Malan, butt...

those are ugly, IMO.

I know! The odds of that are about the same as finding a skinny person at a Twinkie Festival.

No matter who wore those they would still be ugly though!

^ deinitely! that picture's haunting! i'm not a fan of either looks. i would've expected cleaner lines and good tailoring from malan.

I'm glad they mentioned Heidi's top..it's so "$15 top from forever 21."

Ohhh...I'm e.vil

I was laughing so hard that when a patron called at work, I had to put them on hold and recover for a bit before attempting to talk
I know my favorite part is Alison with the care bears and gurl, you know its true referencing Keith books...

Yeah the whole gurl thing was hilarious! I loved the whole Michael "Gurl Word!"

^ I was really liking Vera Wang. She had some great things to say, I wish they had kept her!
