^^I agree, the criteria was a little foggy. Was this an outfit that should transition from day to night AND place to place? I doubt that the outfits "jetsetters" wear on the plane and at a party later are the same, and as you pointed out, different styles of clothing are acceptable at different places.
On Tim's podcast, he said he was surprised that the designers did not ask more questions. Maybe he thought a lot would be cleared up prior to sketching, through their opportunities to ask questions. But it didn't happen.
Although Angela was not my fave, I did feel badly when she was sent home.
I was glad Jeffrey won a challenge. His smile was so pure. I think people misunderstand him. Many people who have been through rehab, etc., speak very directly and what is on their minds, IMO.
And, I must add, I have always liked Michael but he wasn't my clear-cut favorite. I haven't had a favorite this season, unlike last season when I was pulling for Nick and Daniel V the entire season.
But last night Michael won me over big-time. His genuine smile when Jeffrey won, the way he worked with Kayne modeling, his interactions with others. He consistently shows his true colors week-in and week-out when Tim Gunn arrives at his work station, gives Michael food for thought, and then he listens, digests, reacts and redesigns on the fly.
Tim makes Michael question himself and makes him work even harder. The way he accepts input and then springs forward with the few words Tim Gunn gives him, has endeared himself to me.
I love him now more than ever and will be rooting for him all the way. I have not had a favorite: but Michael is now my main man.
