Project Runway

It won't. The four remaining finalists--Austin, Wendy, Jay and Kara--are all there.

yeah ... i gave into my tempation and was kinda bummed ... i want to know the final 3 ...

***** clothes are like really really bad Mcqueen knock offs with some Stella Mcartney thrown in. Not original and very tacky.

Oh wait, there are more images with the designers AND their clothes. I think we can gather a good idea of who made it through AND who one.

Put it this way, it's not a suprise.

I'm looking for help from you guys. Does anyone know the song on "project Runway" that is played when the contestants are eliminated and are packing up their things. It's really important for me. Thanx for your help

Bella

I think...

Austin -- the Wild West, suedey, saloon collection

Jay -- spacey, headphones collection

This one is Jay's.

This one is Austin's.

This one is Kara's.

This one is Wendy's.

I hope this hasn't been posted already, as I'm joining this thread late, but have y'all seen the designs on Wendy Pepper's website?

Are they going to choose a winner from these 4 runway shows? I am confused! I thought that only one would have runway show. Wendy's is actually not that bad this time but still lack of creativity. Those pics are so small, can't see them clearly.

The Getty Images link identifies most of the designers, and after a while, you recognize who is who anyway.

MINOR SPOILERS (turn away if you don't want to know anything)
Austin did his overly thematic, costumey outfits again, Jay went crazy conceptual with a lot of difficult to wear items, even AFTER you take the show styling away, Wendy's outfits made quite a few of the models look dowdy, and fit TERribly on a some. My fave, Kara, is looking very Proenza Schouler with her cuts, with a little bit of Peter Som thrown in, but she's definitely got a consistent collection, with themse running through the nevertheless varied outfits. I hope she takes it. Although I could definitely see Jay being a contender as well.

i was wondering just the same.....?? can anyone clear that up?

Possible SPOILER..>!

"Getty Images have pictures from the Project Runway show, Jay, Kara Saun, Austin and Wendy all showed their collection at the event. Apparently, Jay was eliminated in the last episode which will air next week but he got to show off his collection as well, though he isn't eligible for the grand prize."

---No wonder Jay has such a small collection

They have a long way to go-

Obviously, their skills need to be worked on a little bit more. I found my self actually liking pieces from Wendy's collection! :woot: Austin-hated it. While he is talented, he has really shown that he can't make collections that a "normal" person with $200 could wear, and he doesn't show much diversity. I think his talents would be better-suited making costume designs for movies or Broadway. I would love to see would he could do with costumes for a movie like Chicago or Moulin Rogue! Jay-I love him but I hated this collection!

And Kara-Although she is talented and consistent in her designs, I can't trust a designer who would step out of the house wearing this::blink:

From WWD Weekend:

The Final Countdown
Project Runway: Week after week, Bravo’s “Project Runway” has had viewers glued to their sets as they witnessed designer after designer get cut from the show. On Friday, the final challenge came as the remaining four contestants presented their lineups at Bryant Park. Jay McCarroll showed a bold, brazen collection that featured versatile, monochromatic looks with a techy vibe. There was a touch of Tokyo girl and a dash of preppy hipster in his ensemble of a denim sleeveless jacket layered with a tank, button-down, mesh sweater and pants. Austin Scarlett’s 10-piece collection that included a tweed dress with a bolero and a ruffled blouse had a sexy, American Revolution-inspired elegance. Kara Saun, meanwhile, channeled Howard Hughes to create a fantasy fly-girl collection that was both feminine and utilitarian, as in a rust-colored leather and crocodile three-quarter-length jacket with an aviator hat, and a fabulous, low-cut chocolate silk evening gown. Wendy Pepper, clearly the weakest of the bunch, showed too many bustier and corset looks. While TV viewers will have to wait until Feb. 23 to see the winner, our verdict is in. It’s a close call, but McCarroll takes the cake.
