Rachel Zoe Fall 06 Style Guide

Or you know what, I could use my own brain and come up with an outfit instead of listening to this sack of leather.

 Agreed! I've seen some of these looks around Reykjavik already, the slouchy boots thing especially, and metallic ones, I thought it was a little 2005 personally (the metallic accessories and slouchy boots.) :ninja: I don't think this will catch on as huge as it could have a year or two ago, because it seems that the school age kids have mostly adopted a sort of cyber gothic/psuedo rock and roll style, and so these looks wouldn't apply. I think the 18-23 year old crowd will latch on to this and refuse to let go.

I thought 1960s mod shift dresses were in and cocoon clothing?

I don't need Zoe for advice, I am happy with the way I dress already - hehehe!

see, the thing is, "rache zoe" and "style" don't belong in the same sentence, so the title of this thread should be changed.

So - these are the looks which will roam the streets in Autumn and Winter.. be prepared! :ninja: :P

exactly! I like a few of the pieces.

not loving it... I saw nothing that I haven't seen before. The dress with black tights reminds me of MK, and the rest well it's all too trendy for my liking:doh:

I think those looks vary from fashion victim-y and banal to truly horrible :D

I can see Nicole Ritchie in all of these outfits.

haha! so can I! And I actually like some of them^_^

Like anyone in real life would wear a minidress and white tights. And like everyone has a stylist. She is so ridiculous.

I think these outfits are great and very wearable for those who don't have the slightest clue about what to wear or fashion in general. These outfits are all very safe and something that will be seen on any blonde over-tanned girl. But even these outfits may be too fashion-forward for my town. :(

I think these outfits are fine for young women (25 and under). Break some rules before you get old haha...

I dont think any of her idea's are very exciting. But if you have no idea what to wear maybe her advice could be good. but its all pretty boring

To call this woman a stylist is an insult to all the real stylists out there. I would never take fashion advice from someone with a face that looks like a chamois. :yuk:

sorry if this sounds arrognant but my favourite thing about the faashion industry is its diversity like this season some love red others hate it, some are throwing out their skinnies and getting their boyfriend fit others are staying loyal and keeping atright lega and low waisted, same with all our other current trends such as lepord print, grey, platform shoes and leggings but Rachel Zoe seems to be making clones of herself.and im not sure i like it.sorry if this sounds pompous

i read in a mag about stylists. one of them being rachel zoe, and she was quoted "i like to dress my girls in ..."
my girls?

Great! The list of looks for me to avoid at all costs!
Agreed! I like some of the individual pieces. But the looks themselves are horrible!

Wow, I'm probably one of the few people here who have admired Rachel Zoe in the past but these looks were all a big disappointment to me. I always loved her trademark boho kind of thing. In a magazine article I remember her saying that women should wear dresses they can comfortably sit indian style in on the floor. I thought that was so awesome. Now it appears to me that what I saw as her trademark or personal sense of style was simply her capitalizing on the trend of the moment and now she is on to the next big thing. Color me not impressed. Bring back the old boho with long flowy dresses and chunky jewelry. These looks are very body conscious for the most part. :(
