I kinda like this one, I think it's the mix of that bright bold print against a chic black suit.

OMFG!
from what i've seen so far, i am totally totally in love with galliano and dior's resort collections!!
galliano's especially
and spike, i get what you're trying to say with the "vintage galliano" comment. i see it as well, however it's nothing he's really ever stopped doing. if you go into any galliano boutique you will notice that he's never stopped doing his signature style of the flowy chiffon print dresses and such..it's just that he just doesn't show it on the catwalk... which is a shame.

Great. Urban Safari at its best. Modern, sharp, and a gorgeous brunettel wouldn't hurt.

The rest however is boring. This guy can cut, but the coordination of color is rather unexciting.

the hippy look reminds me a lot of what was shown at the fall 2001 haute couture show...

galiano doing what he does best...good...love the kimono over the suit...and his bias cut dresses are always killer... :flower:

dior is rather dull, and we have seen this all before havent we?

galliano is quite nice!vinatge galliano indeed :o

i can't wait to see more from galliano and dior!! everything looks so AMAZING!! :buzz:

and yes space, while we have seen something similar from dior i still love it!!

i also love how for dior, galliano kept true to the runway show by dropping the waistlines to the hips: belted, 1920's-style. if you look at it without the parrot feather bolero or whatever that is, the blue dress is basically a literal translation of 1920's costume. it's all there: the pleated, ankle-length skirt, the belt very very very low around the hips, the shapelessness. i love it!

i see what you're saying brian...but actually ...my fave part is the little feather capelet thing...it's that bir of flair that gives it some magic and makes it special...and not just a literal translation(which i find quite unispired)...probably the idea of some stylist... :innocent: :flower:
