I kinda like this one, I think it's the mix of that bright bold print against a chic black suit.Originally posted by Lena@Jun 4th, 2004 - 2:04 am

Great. Urban Safari at its best. Modern, sharp, and a gorgeous brunettel wouldn't hurt.Originally posted by Lena@Jun 1st, 2004 - 1:48 am

the hippy look reminds me a lot of what was shown at the fall 2001 haute couture show...Originally posted by Lena@Jun 4th, 2004 - 3:06 am

i see what you're saying brian...but actually ...my fave part is the little feather capelet thing...it's that bir of flair that gives it some magic and makes it special...and not just a literal translation(which i find quite unispired)...probably the idea of some stylist...Originally posted by brian@Jun 4th, 2004 - 2:50 pm
i also love how for dior, galliano kept true to the runway show by dropping the waistlines to the hips: belted, 1920's-style. if you look at it without the parrot feather bolero or whatever that is, the blue dress is basically a literal translation of 1920's costume. it's all there: the pleated, ankle-length skirt, the belt very very very low around the hips, the shapelessness. i love it!![]()
