Thanks for posting Lena!

The clothes on the first page are nothing to write home about, very boring.
But I like the last YSL you posted, especially the dress in the middle

i absolutely agree, the knee length YSL dress is quite cute ;)

I love that first YSL and in the last of the YSL, the outfit on the far left. I hope he can take the amazing house of YSL to great places :innocent:

the YSL ones are not bad, but I can't decide until I see more.

as for those Chanels, they are alright, nothing brilliant, nothing hedious, just old typical Karl Chanel :innocent:

I like all of the YSL except that printed dress

Chanel is kind of boring, but I like the long jacket to the far left with the nautical theme :ninja:

I really like that Chanel Homme outfit. It's kind of nice :flower:

great to see YSL.
its not bad. nothing new but constant.. which sometimes is good

chanel is not that bad after all :innocent:

Call me crazy (most do) but I'm not loving the YSL posted. I mean, it's nothing spectacular and I don't really like the colors for a pre-spring line.

I know, but (suprisingly) I just don't like it or rather I just don't think it's anything spectacular, and like I said, the colors are a little dull for resort wear. I mean, the first look is ok, but it's nothing to jump up and down about.

i agree, nothing to 'jump up and down about' much more since its not signed by TF  :innocent:

Actually, to tell you the truth, I wouldn't like it even if he had designed it. I think it's mainly the colors, they're really bothering me. So bland for spring.

well...i like the ysl...a loosened up version of what ford had been doing...musch more appropriate to the ysl target customer...imo....i esp like the first 'safari' look...very ysl... B) and i agree with everyone about the shorter dress..adorable...and i like the print on the chiffon outfit...yes ...i like it...

:flower:

so ...karl is officially doing chanel homme?...they've launched a menswear line?...

I really like the Perry Ellis look shown here. I think that the direction he's taking the company is very wearable and affordable and will become a household name again.
Michael Kors, what can I say. I love his Resort and Spring collections every year, I generally like Fall, but something about the way he interprets warm weather clothing I think is very classy. I have definitely missed having he KORS collection in my store. Ironically, he is sooo far from my own personal style, even thought there have been some very impressive pieces in his small menswear collections that I would love to have.
I am pleased by the looks from YSL. He's got some big shoes to fill (Laurent's, not Ford's) and a lot of atttention focused on the house in general right now, so SAFE is okay in my book.
The Chanel stuff doesn't do much for me. I can see everybody's point with Karl's lack of innovation with the brand, but I can't help but remembering the tulle/tweeds that he did last year that looked as if they were desintegrating (sp?). I know people will continue to buy it, but that trench with the tweed trim looks dated to me somehow. (and I thought it was great the first time I saw it).
Now, as for the whole satin ribbon/bow thing....
