''Complaining'' about the paps and everything but going out in some hip West-Hollywood restaurant? Please... But the cab-thing makes that observation very much okay.

(I'm not starting anything with the complaining thing btw. Just something I read on ONTD. Guilty pleasure)

yeah, but (fellow ONTD reader also here ) then you could also read on ONTD that the owners of the resturant are Weinstein and The Scotts (Ridley and his son, Ridley being the producer on OTR and Scott being the director of the soon-to-be-released WTTR) so i'm quite sure she had some kind of business meeting there or something to it - i doubt someone so private would've go to this place of all the places to be seen in West Hollywood - too much accidental things, IMO.

btw, Lainey just said something interesting on her LiveBlog:

More recently, Robert Pattinson was asked not to come back around the On the Road set after his presence in Montreal created a circus atmosphere. yeah,he visited her in NO, i don't think he went to the set tho. i think it might've been just his one stop on his roadtrip with friends - the pic from NO was from some bar.

EDIT: you're right! there was a whole story about him visiting the set too! i totally forgot about it. just remembered it!

i don't think lainey really knows anything from the OTR set. sounds more like trying to save face. why didn't she say he did come back although he wasn't wanted anymore in the first comment?! lainey knows some stuff from the vancouver twilight set but it doesn't seem to me like she knows more about the OTR set that anyone else

i think Lainey/Sarah were more talking about it from Salis's perspective - he's known as a very keep-in-tight-when-it-comes-to-crew-and-cast, like a very very very hush, closed off type of director (hence the month of the bonding bootcamp in pre-prod), but also..i do think it was crazy - remember those "kissing photos" were from Montreal, and the set ones were also from Montreal - when the rumor of him arriving to NO started we instantly got those pap pics of Kristen and Garrett on a location - so i think Lainey/Sarah were referring to that - not the fact where Rob hanged out, but the very fact he was in the same city as the interrupting detail for the filming.

Alve - the comment about OTR set didn't come from Lainey, both answers came from Sarah who's a specialist for cinema/movies and film industry in general (and has sources - my guess is that part of Salis's crew are Canadian or worked during the Montreal shoot and Sarah knows them).

I'm really not believing Lainey, if they didn't want Rob on set or if Rob knew he was getting Kristen in trouble he would of not have visited her on set.

i just realized i wrote that Lainey said it, in my post on top of this page - it was Sarah who gave all the comments this time around regarding these two in the LiveBlog (Lainey's companion and movie insider).

maybe it wasn't as big of an issue or these two just didn't care about it? who knows. i'm having it hard time believing too, but who knows...

Yes - I heard it was a hip eaterie too. After all of Kristen's b****ing (not saying Rob doesn't do it too, but she definitely complains and shows it more...)why eat somewhere you know the paps would have on their watch-list? Do we really know it was a business meeting...

Basically, if I thought I would get in that much trouble, given it had caused an issue first time round, I would tell my boyf to keep the distance, and not come to the set. I.e. I think it's just Sarah and Lainey talking their usual crap about Rob. I really doubt Rob would put Kristen in a position like that with her boss and I really don't think he would want Mr. Salles to be thinking of him negatively or the other producers of this movie who are big time Hollywood heavyweights.

yeah. if it's true what Sarah said i hope it was a mutual agreement between these two or something like that, cus i seriously hope he's not that kind of as*hole who'd do that to his gf. if it was anything more serious, i think Sarah/Lainey would've hinted it in today's article (about these two) or gave more hints in the LiveBlog.who knows...

as for the pap thing - sorry, but it's not like these two are common visitors of these kind of spots,i really think that there was some kind of biz meeting thing considering who the owners are. in the end, who says it's not a win-win situation, laying paps of their backs for awhile since they've been on a hunt after these two since they both arrived to LA and also do a business meeting while they're at it. it's never black and white situation when it comes to this.

Yes, you're right, he seems very career savvy. And they do trash talk him much - could have been true but I remember the Eclipse re-shoots where Lainey posted about his show-down with the director and how he arrived late on set, etc

After a certain point, I don't think a couple needs to confirm it. J-Lo never actually confirmed she was pregnant until she had her kids.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck then it's probably a duck.

The problem with these two is you can never tell if it's just some PR stunt organized by Summit or the real deal. They appear to go months without seeing each other and then these supposed confirmation pictures/news stories always seem to pop up around the time they start filming a twilight movie. I see no kind of chemistry between them at all, so if they are dating then it's not a steamy romance.
