Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2023 Milan

I don't know. I don't feel the fun or the vibes from this. It looks kind of lifeless even though it's full of colors and prints.

I’m glad this is just Pre-Fall, there are some good pieces but he’s a little to obvious with some references however I still see potential in him.

This man has that touch where everything he made looks so tacky and crass.

He can throw as many tigers, pythons, and leopard prints as he wants, but his understanding of Cavalli is so one-dimensional. Animal prints, ok, what else?

Roberto's collections circa 2010s already aged better than this mess.

^^^If only he had gone full-on tacky and crass.

Bless the Black model for at least making the effort to sell such slop. And if the branding had only been her (with another Black model like her), at least there would be a consistent attitude. As it is, such hilariously, directionless mess of an offering in an attempt to appeal to everyone— going from conservative American Frontier flannels and reserved Glen-plaids to trailer-trash fringed animal prints and even trashier hotrod flames prints galore. It’s so obvious he’s trying so hard holding back his usual circuit gayz OTT-tackiness and making an attempt at sophistication but failing hilariously. I guess the midwest strippers that suckered in a match on SugarDaddy.com may be the targeted customer.

Whenever I see a new Cavalli collection, I immediately think "oh this looks likes a Fausto Puglisi collection" completely forgetting for a moment that Fausto is the current creative director, which I take as a really bad sign.

This is tacky, but crass it isn't. Crass, when done well, requires an understanding of very good taste in order to push it to the extreme. Frankly, this just looks so twee and chintzy.

If I'm being generous, I would say this looks like a Just Cavalli collection.

Can someone bring Roberto Cavalli out of retirement? Like there is such a void.

Where is the attitude and energy? There's no personality. This could be from any cheap boutique in Las Vegas. He has no clue how to manage Cavalli and it's a shame.

Re-release the archives so fans buy and then shut it down.

With the Y2K revival happening at the moment Roberto Cavalli should be at the very forefront of it. Instead he’s giving us cheap catalog realness. I can see why young celebrities are pulling looks from the archives. There is nothing new that is desirable.

I know it's 'just' Pre-Fall, but how are you gonna charge top dollar for this glorified H&M?
